Awesome Screen, Awful Experience

TV is awesome, Vizio sucks. The TV will not work without connecting to internet and creating a Vizio account. They want your credit card and personal information an in return, they will put you on their spam email list. The set up process took about 30 minutes of my life that I will never get back. I go so frustrated, at one point I started to box the TV up so I could return it. Their streaming apps are limited, and I have to use a Roku device to get Direct TV. Next time I'm looking for a TV, I will pass on Vizio.

Great Value TV

Had an LG OLED TV that only lasted 2 1/2 years. That TV was top shelf, and I expected it to last much, much longer than that. I decided to get another 42-43" TV as I mainly use it as a computer monitor and to stream apps. Purchased a Samsung mid-tier TV at a great price. While that was a decent TV, the picture did not compare to the OLED. The Vizio Quantum TV was on my short list as well. I very seldom return items, but this was an exception. Returned the Samsung and got the Vizio. Picture quality was about the same as the Samsung and it was several hundred dollars less. It took about 15 minutes for the Vizio to do updates. The viewing angle is not very good on this TV like many others as well. The black level is Ok but nothing to brag about. It does have quite a lot of apps and they load fairly quick. Overall, a good value TV that is good as others that cost considerably more.

Good bargain on a TV needed on short notice

VIZIO televisions aren't what they used to be, but they still offer good value and performance for the price. This 43" was the perfect size for where I am using it. I was going to get the regular 4K (Blue box) version at Walmart, but the Quantum (Red box) version was on clearance for less at Sam's Club! (It's another $20 less a month later!) I don't like the remote control that comes with the TVs now. Fortunately, the old remotes still work with the new TVs. Overall, this was good buy!

My Vizio TV

The tv is a pretty good tv so we are very happy with our purchase. How ever there were zero instructions in box for installation, and we had buy nuts %26 bolts. Not knowing what size we had to google that information. Thank god for google The pictures good sounds good.

Poor picture quality

The picture suffered from staggering or motion blur; a stop/start disruption, especially with live sporting events. I read in multiple places that this can be an issue with Vizio televisions. I tried every possible thing to fix it and nothing worked. It was returned.

Disappointed.

The 43” is perfect for a small room. Picture quality is very good. We have Xfinity and did not know until after the purchase that you cannot download the Xfinity app on the Vizio. We had to purchase Roku to get the Xfinity app. Disappointed that we have to use 2 remotes now.

Solid TV Choice For Those On A Budget

The Visio TV works well and provides lots of free content, if you’re cutting the cable cord. I probably would have given the TV 5 stars, but I’m deducting one star because it is slow to turn on. When I push the button on the remote to turn on the tv, the colored circle spins for awhile till the apps appear on the screen. Not sure if this just applies to my TV or all of them, but wanted to mention it. Otherwise, I recommend this Vizio TV as a solid choice for those on a budget.

Positive First Impression!

In comparison to my previous Vizio (32" D-Series), my first impression of this 43" V-Series Quantum is very positive. However, I haven't yet tried tried to set-up my local channels: I was never able to do so on my Vizio D-Series. Overall, I believe that this purchase will prove to be a great value for the price. Let's hope!
