Replacement for a 16 year old 37” Vizio

POOR PICTURE on 43 inch QLED

I purchased the tv jul 27, 2025. No physical damage. Lots of pixelating even when persons are moving slowly. Low definition--blurred around corners of eyes, noses and mouth. Football helmets bled together and there was some ghosting and freezing. Definition was often out of focus for background areas. I compared it to my other Vizio that had none of these problems on the same programs. This may have been a lemon but, I have never bought a flat screen with these issues. Returned it. I may try another one since it has great picture reviews and is on clearance with a 3 year warranty.

5th Vizio I’ve bought and still have all of them

Vizio has been the best quality TV I’ve bought for years! I find the quality of their TVs far exceeds the price they charge.Some of my Vizios I’ve had for more than 10years I’ve only changed because of the added features with the newer ones. Best Tv for the price hands down.

Being able to use tv for the first time was a pain

Bought tv and wasn’t allowed to use it until I activated an account. Normally that’s not an issue. It was very very difficult. I did everything I was supposed to. Finally I had to download the app and then was allowed to use the tv I bought. I would recommend this product but only a non smart tv version.

Does not work with YouTube TV

As soon as I turned on YouTube TV I noticed an issue. Every now and then the picture would lag. Then when I tried adjusting the volume it lagged every time. It worked fine with other apps I tried but not YouTube TV. I looked it up online and it said to lower the picture quality. Ok, that sucks, but I'll try it. I ended up having to reduce the picture quality all the way down to 780 SD or something like that!! That really ruined the picture quality. So we ended up returning it and getting a TCL. We have 2 other TCL's and love them, so I knew it would work.

Great picture but always defaults to Smartcast

Even though I have the TV settings set to default to use the Last input. Every time I turn it on after its been off it always goes back to Vizios stupid Smart Cast when turned on again after being off for a few hours. I do not want their invasive spam, I want my Cable, Roku, BluRay to be defaulted. Hope a firmware upgrade fixes this issue. I purchased the TV for my mother who has Macular degen. She cannot change the inpu easliy so that is why I set it to

Disappointing

Cannot adjust aspect ratio. Picture is too big for the screen. Having problems getting color and tint balanced. Manuel not helpful. A lot of ways to adjust, but nothing to help identify true colors of the picture being sent. Example: Uniform jerseys for Eagles game showed up Blue and not Green. Couldn't adjust properly. Was using Sport mode.

This Product is Failing Me

I have owned this TV for two months now, and sadly, I don't believe it was a good purchase. I have had issues with the TV losing its WiFi connectivity on multiple occasions. It has happened while watching TV, as well as just by turning the TV on. I have had a stable internet connect with other devices when this has occurred, so I'm baffled as to why the TV reboots and knocks out of it. The issue I'm dealing with now is that the TV isn't even powering past the VIZIO display screen, and the power lighting just constantly flashes. I've tried unplugging it from the outlet and the TV, waiting an extended amount of time before powering back on, and it still flashes. This TV has been a headache. It was purchased with 3-Year manufacturer's warranty, so I'll be contacting them immediately.
