I applied it before going out in the sunniest part of the day and my face isn’t burnt to a crisp as usual. It’s not oily whatsoever ever, goes on white but rubs in clear and smooth. I am sold, I will absolutely recommend!

It’s so lightweight and moisturizing. While there is a bit of a white cast when you first apply, this product absorbs super fast and has really protected my skin from the sun.

It's gentle on the skin and boasts an SPF of 50. I'd suggest applying it about 30 minutes before going out in the sun, and it should go on under makeup. Definitely worth recommending.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's so hot right now in Southern California. So. HOT. We're spending a lot of time outdoors and having to reapply sunscreen. Normally, that leads to congested skin. And breakouts. Prior to switching to Neutrogena Clear Face, I was using a different mineral based sunscreen on my face. I had just started battling breakouts (particularly around my mouth and chin area.) After switching to Neutrogena Clear Face, these eruptions ceasesd. Most importantly, my skin has been protected. I have not suffered any kind of burning from the sun. I will be using Clear Face again today, The sun is already beaming brightly here at 7:34 AM. It's gonna be another scorcher.

It is easy to apply, goes on streak free, and has a pleasant fragrance. I have not had any sunburn since using. This is a first! This is a fantastic product!

I have sensitive, oily skin. After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this overpriced drugstore product. I'm a hairstylist so high quality cosmetic purchases are worth it in my books. My skin is very important. I went on a very important Vacation to Hawaii, and after my 10 day honeymoon trip, I now have to deal with the effects of using this terrible product for only 5 days. My only regret is that I used it for that many days. My chin, cheeks, neck and arms all have breakouts, some quite severe. Yes Neutrogena, I took photos of what your product did to my skin. It did not control the oil on my skin and to my dismay I allowed my partner to use it on his naturally dry skin. Guess who broke out with his NON ACNE PRONE SKIN. Yup. Worst skin product I have used. I blame myself for trusting these reviews. Thanks for ruining my skin and my honeymoon pictures.

It is non-greasy, absorbs well, and doesn’t leave any noticeable white cast (although I have rather pale skin so that wouldn’t be as noticeable on me). It did not cause any breakouts for me, and there was no burning. It kind of feels like wearing a mattifying, blurring primer. Overall, I would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I breakout very easily so I was very happy to see the product claims were true in that regard. However, I would not call this a clear face lotion. Just like other neutrogena sunscreens, it does like leave a slight white cast on the face but maybe a wee bit less than others. It doesnt really bother me since i have medium tan skin, but I know for others who have deeper skin tone it might look ashy or gray. Overall, its a good standard facial sunscreen and applied well with my makeup on top. Would probably pick up another when I run out.

I love that it's a high SPF number as so many other brands shoot for 15 to 25 SPF. I also like how they take oily skin into consideration because SPF has a tendency to make skin into an oil slick. This product is great and has my stamp of approval.
