Good and sharp.

I took a chance on these Member's Mark (MM) 8.5 inch Stainless Steel Steak Knives (12 pieces) a couple of years ago when my two young adult offspring needed steak knives for their respective apartments. What's to lose? My own knives kept disappearing anyway. I've been a Sam's member for >30yrs, and find the MM products equal or better to name brands which USED to be "top tier," but are now poor quality. Since I was old enough to do anything in the kitchen, I've been a "doer" not a sit and watcher - gather w/friends %26 relatives who cook -REALLY COOK- so I've seen a lot of what works %26 doesn't, and remain OPEN to new ideas. With my offspring's respective hectic lives, moving several times, and not-so-careful roommates, these MM steak knives saw a lot of “use.” One offspring forgot them in the sink, submerged in yuck for more than a week, but NO PROBLEM, %26 NO RUST. Unfortunately, heavy items were dropped onto the knife handles, hot cast iron pans were positioned on TOP of the handles, the knife blades were used to open boxes, etc. You name it these knives were put to the test, however – NO RUST – BLADES STILL SHARP %26 SHINY %26 HANDLES INTACT - (minor cosmetic damage to knife handles were NOT a result of product defect, but from the dramatic use, and such use is not recommended). In contrast, replacing the missing knives from my own set - the same new ones stainless steak knives, a German brand, a set used only by me and meticulously hand washed %26 dried, rusted immediately with one light use (brand name set purchased elsewhere). Bottom Line --> BUY THESE, USE THEM. You won't be disappointed!

Awesome knife. We used this for many years and after that Sam’s had different one. As soon as I show this I grab it. It is good one.

These steak knives were a great price and work well. I'm happy with my purchase.
