I bought this cooler to replace another rolling cooler I use when traveling. The MAIN reason was the “up to 4 days” of keeping the ice frozen. What a joke! The first time we used it was moving a kid to college. It was full of drinks and a 30# bag of ice. It did not last through the day! The ice had melted by the time we got home that evening. So so disappointed in Igloo, and in SAMs Club for not vetting this item.

I bought this cooler expecting ease-of-use and 4 days worth of keeping ice, like advertised. A 20lb bag of ice lasted in this cooler for 3 hours. The lid was completely closed, the cooler was not overstocked. The temperature outside was only in the lower 80s. The cooler was completely in the shade at all times. I'm surprised as Igloo is known for being a good brand. This cooler was a complete waste of my time and money and ruined food kept in containers. Stay clear of this item.

This This Igloo cooler is the worst cooler I have ever owned. It will not keep ice for more than 1 day. This is at temperatures in the 80’s and kept out of direct sunlight. I complained to igloo and their response was it has been tested to meet their ice retention claims.

I would not recommend. We put 2 big bags of ice in this cooler 2 days in a row and by night time it was all melted. The wheels are also very week and hard to roll. Spend the money and buy better. The cooler was in the shade the whole time and average temp was 85.

Up to 4 day ice rating is a marketing claim not close to reality. Would have to be winter to get 4 days of ice. Approx 6 lbs remaining of a 16 lb bag of ice after 1 70s day in the shade. Light duty day use only for a picnic. Do not buy for camping or longer than 1 day use.

This cooler does the job.

We wanted a heavier version for more durability. Would work fine if not packed with lots of cooler items.

The handles will not slide up and down. Takes two people to get them down so the lid will open all the way.
