I cannot believe the difference between my old 40 inch Samsung and my new Samsung 43 inch. Picture and voice are much clearer. Plus the size of the 43 is actually smaller and narrower than my 40. I am very happy I stayed with the Samsung brand

The picture quality is very good. Clear and sharp. Since we don't use any of the smart features, these are an unnecessary complication. The sound quality from the built-in speakers is terrible, and I wasted a lot of time and money on adaptors getting a working speaker system. Setup was overly complex for us as we don't need most of the added features. And the remote control is very limited and difficult to use - we need to use both it and the Bell remote to control all the functions. * I HATE those stupid Netflix, Amazon, etc buttons which are always getting pushed by accident! But all in all, it has been a solid, reliable television. I just would not buy another "smart" TV. -

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Samsung TV has great picture quality for its size. Whether it is a soccer match or a movie, the picture quality remains really good. The app menu on the TV is super simple and makes it easy to navigate. Overall a great TV, highly recommend.

Not happy at all. When the TV is powered off it ticks like a clock. It's the most annoying thing ever. I bought this for the bedroom but there is no way is going to be able to stay. Nice tv other than the tick tick tick tick tick. I have to unplug the tv thing when I want to go to sleep. Just garbage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our previous TV got damaged, so had to upgrade. Was pleasantly surprised with the packaging and easy install. Note that you will definitely need two people, and I'm glad I had help. The tv looks sleek, especially the stand design. We mostly use our tv for streaming and playing games. The remote that comes with the tv is also sleek, keeping with the theme. The frame is all black, along with the legs/stand, which is also something I personally like over chrome or silver. You can also adjust the height and where the legs are mounter apparently? I didn't mess around with that too much Usage wise, the software is upgraded, so it's much faster than my previous tv (a 2017 model UHD 7 series i think). Having voice assistant integration built in, along with being able to turn my tv on and off with my phone is convenient. Overall everything just looks more clean aesthetically, the whole package. One gripe I have is reflection from outside lightning hampers the viewing almost as much, if not more than my older tv. I think that is to be expected though, but I was hoping for an improvement. Another thing to keep in mind is losing HDMI ports depending on what tv you're coming from. My previous one came with a smart hub, which I think was a genius idea (had 4 hdmi ports and an optical port as well I think). The AU8000 has only 3 hdmi ports if I'm not mistaken. One gaming console had to be sacrificed. I'm happy with my purchase, and glad to stick with Samsung.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Samsung TV last year and the quality is okay. Not the best especially with its pixels. I feel in certain areas of the tv it's cloudy and you can see blocks depending on the definition of the color.

Not a huge fan of the audio but it's fine. The picture is clean and you can enjoy what you're watching. As far as gaming, it's nothing incredible but unless you're super into gaming, you're ok with this TV. After all, it's not for gaming or anything specific like that.

got this to go along with my xbox series s and it is amazing to see the difference between this and my older samsung. from start up the picture quality is top of the line and has great sound quality also. its lightweight and easy to set up with all my subscriptions. plus i can hook it up with alexa and play games and open apps with just my voice!
