we use the au8000 as a tv, not as a monitor. it has 3 hdmi ports and 2 usb ports. i have a fire stick, direct tv box, and sound bar hooked up to it. i am ordering a rca to hdr adapter to see if i can get the dvd player to work on it. i gave it 4 out of 5 stars solely because the "emenu" does not cover everything that i want to know about set up. installation and adding devices manual does not exist. it's a lot of hunting, trial, and error. i even had to use youtube to find instructions. otherwise, very happy with it.

bought this tv in nov. 2021. setup would have been fairly easy except there was not enought room around the antenna-in connecion to connect the cable-tv coax. bruised my fingers trying to attach it. and the audio is not good at all. this is my third samsung tv and i've never had any problems prveviously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV out of the box was easy to setup and configure. 2 modes available to configure, mobile or remote. I used the mobile setup and was amazed at the ease. My Samsung sign in, network settings, and other settings were transferred from the mobile to the TV. How easy.. The remote worked flawless with Directv box. Fell in ove with the simplicity of the setup. Then fell in love again with the clarity of the picture for an UHD unit. We have a QLED in the main room and this UHD will be used in the game room. Couldn't be happening with the unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the thin, sleek design of this TV--and the image quality is AMAZING! You do have to fiddle with the settings a little to prevent the "soap opera" look, but once you figure out the controls, the viewing experience is unmatched by any TV I've ever seen. (Hint: Filmmaker mode and judder are your friends.) The slim remote feels nice in the hand, too. One thing I don't like about this product is the sound quality. It's not a problem if you're using a soundbar, but when I plugged something into HDMI port 3 (which is installed right on top of the optical port), it caused the optical port to die. The Bluetooth works alright, but disconnects if it's muted for too long, so every block of commercials had me reconnecting the speaker. (By some unknown stroke of luck, the optical port started working again today, so hopefully that issue is resolved.) The only other complaint I have is that the cabinet is very, very delicate. I attached it to the wall using a 90-degree mount so I could play Switch games without moving the coffee table; I have to reach behind and adjust the rotation using the wall mount itself, rather than grabbing and twisting the screen. It's not a huge problem, but it is awkward and clumsy, so it would be nice if there was some sort of reinforcement built in to account for the tightness of a wall mount. Overall, though, I would buy this again. The image quality is absolutely stunning! It even adjusts for lower-quality pictures, so everything looks great!

It has clear, crisp lines and weather you are watching sports, movies or reality television the picture is so life like. As far as being a smart television, it was incredible to watch how quickly and easily the television and Samsung remote detected devices and linked all of my streaming accounts. The many preloaded apps and streaming platforms are arranged in a very easy format which makes switching between platforms very easy! The picture is perfect for gaming. The quality and sharpness of the picture really unleashes the power of the console! Overall, having switched from a 4k model to this Samsung UHD, I had no idea what I was missing!!! This television really brings together and amazing picture, integrated streaming platforms and apps, and a remote which is intuitive and easy to use. I highly recommend this model!

Keep a remote handy for the volume as each channel can vary quite a bit. I thought the picture would be deeper in aspect but it still satisfies. We're still learning some features, so have a glass of wine and relax.

hi, i got this tv the other day and the picture is great however the volume sounds tinney and there is not option to enrich the sound. i use an amazon fire stick with stb emulator and volume was never an issue with the old samsug tv which lasted 16 years.

I love the color and dynamics of the television. I mounted the unit to the wall and it's ultra thin frame sits beautifully in my living. We catch all of the big sporting events and we'll as movie night there. Excellent choice.
