I had previously purchased a similar item in the store, and they were great. I was able to wash and re-use them many times over. This version was of a much lower quality. They are so thin they literally crack in your hand if you are not careful. No chance of ever getting multiple uses out of these. Hopefully I can find a different version in the store, but these are going back for sure.

This product is incredible, especially for a disposable! I have lids with rubber gaskets that WISH they could seal this well. I put a few ounces of water in it and shook it around, giving it every opportunity to leak around each of the sides and at the corners. After I dropped it from about 20 inches, my son took it and said, "If you're gonna TEST it, mom...!" as he dropped it from 38-40 inches once... twice... three times and THEN it started to leak because the lid had shifted a couple of millimeters in all of that. This is perfect for us - I love to scratch-make soups and share but do not want to give up my canning jars! Pretty sure these Hefty containers will be absolutely ideal for sending home holiday leftovers (or delivering holiday meals due to covid restrictions) and economical enough to not worry about getting your containers back yet sturdy enough to reuse.
