This product is incredible, especially for a disposable! I have lids with rubber gaskets that WISH they could seal this well. I put a few ounces of water in it and shook it around, giving it every opportunity to leak around each of the sides and at the corners. After I dropped it from about 20 inches, my son took it and said, "If you're gonna TEST it, mom...!" as he dropped it from 38-40 inches once... twice... three times and THEN it started to leak because the lid had shifted a couple of millimeters in all of that. This is perfect for us - I love to scratch-make soups and share but do not want to give up my canning jars! Pretty sure these Hefty containers will be absolutely ideal for sending home holiday leftovers (or delivering holiday meals due to covid restrictions) and economical enough to not worry about getting your containers back yet sturdy enough to reuse. The Hefty food storage containers work very well for storing food on the go. They have a nice tight secure fit, and do not leak fluids during transport. Advertised as dishwasher freezer and microwave safe. Purchased mainly to make meals to take to elderly family member. Held up fine in freezer. Did not try in dishwasher. Tried in microwave and vented the lids, all the lids became deformed and unusable. One literally was in microwave for 30 seconds and still was ruined. Containers did okay in the microwave so I would recommend removing the lid completely. Based on all of the positive reviews, perhaps I just got a defective packages of these containers. If I still had the package I would return. Next purchase will probably be another brand... very disappointed
