Doesn't work well with certain apps

This series as far as my experience has some issues with a select few apps. We tried two different ones. Then purchased a V series and we have had not one problem with any apps. The TV has a great picture, good sounds, lots of settings, and lots of apps. Hopefully by the time this is published , the bugs may have gotten worked out with some new updates. Nevertheless I recommend the Vizio V series Television.

Vizio for Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was Asked review as if this was a new purchase. I bought this TV at least two years ago. Something must've happened during a software update and I had to reset the TV. I think this is what triggered me looking as a new purchaser. The TV itself is dependable, although it is a bit sluggish and responding to the remote when switching apps or trying to change channels on YouTube TV. The sound in the picture are great

Excellent TV Value

This 40" D Series TV produces a very nice picture. The backlight is not as strong as I like though. I have found 70/100 works well and should allow the leds to last longer. This 40" D Series also has thin bezels and grants the user a nice clean look when hanging on the wall. We have a 28" Vizio sound bar hooked up via optical so I can't comment on the TVs internal sound, but the sound bar is controlled perfectly with the remote once you turn off the internal speakers. It is actually our 4th Vizio. We have a 60" E Series from 2011 and two P Series models from 2018. They all continue to provide a beautiful picture and value. This 40" D Series TV replaces a 43" TXX 4 Series model that only lasted 3.5 years. After trying out another brand like the TXX I can honestly say that in my experience Vizio TVs last and continue to be the best value in television production. Lastly, it would be helpful to point out that we ROXX streaming sticks on all of our TVs (we have 9 TVs in our home) as they are quick and responsive and easy to use. Prior to installing a stick in our new 40" D Series TV I found the updated IQ processor to be quick and responsive as well. Much more so than our 2018 P Series TVs. Had I not had the ROXX stick, I believe we would be happy interacting with the current Smartcast application on this 40" D Series.

Excellent results and value.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased week ago and to date have great picture resolution, color and sound. Smart TV functions work fine, only issue I have is only Vizio brand sound bars are compatible with remote. Have to use separate remote to control sound.

Good tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tv a few months back and I really enjoy it. I notice it tends to glitch at night or if I've had the tv on for too long it glitches and i have to do a hard restart on the tv, which is the reason I'm giving 4 stars. other then that I think it's perfect!

Flatscreen Computer

This is a wedding anniversary gift from my wife's stepmother, and it is an impressive piece of technology. The only problem I have with it is the updating, and it does not work well with my Roku device. The screen is impressive, and the colors, graphics, and resolution are as well. A few tweaks are needed here and there but are satisfied at this juncture.

Wonderful tv but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So when I got this TV for Christmas I was so excited to finally have my own TV in my room, because I never had that growing up. Everything has been great with this TV except for the fact that when my husband connects his ps4 to it the screen cuts out and goes completely black at the most random times. It doesn't do it with any other device, we've changed hdmi cords, we've plugged the ps4 in other tvs and it doesn't do it, just my TV. Not sure what the issue is but that's literally the only thing that bothers me, everything else about the TV is amazing. Other than that I'd buy it again as long as the other one didn't do this as well.

D24 TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this for about four days. I like the picture quality and the sound is better than I expected. I was a bit annoyed by prompts to read the terms of use and other docs to enable some features. My plan was to use my Roku and not the smart TV aspects of this device. I cannot remember exactly what I need to do, but finally red the docs so I could finish setup.

Excellent value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Vizio was bought to replace one that was 10 years old, but was caught by a power surge. I wouldn't otherwise have looked for another set, since I was very happy with my old one. The new Vizio is even more satisfying, with more channels available and a sleeker interface. For the price, I don't think there's a better set on the market.
