Love this VIZIO D-Series 40"

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] VIZIO was recommended to me by a friend as being a great product with great customer service. So when my old TV went out, my husband and I shopped for a VIZIO and we purchase the VIZIO D-Series 40" Class. We love it, it was easy to set up and the program walks you through each step. This is the best smart TV I have owned and I love it. I will be recommending it to family and friends.

Love VIzio!

Bought my first smart TV this week and the set up was super easy and ready to go in 15 minutes without reading the instructions. Crystal clear viewing and great sound! Thank you

It so easy to use with amazing features.

Great pictures and sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter bought me this as my old TV was not a "smart" TV. She has several Vizio TV's in her home, so she made the brand choice for me. But as it turns out, it's a great choice. Love it. Remote is "old lady simple" so I can actually na irate it!!!

Nice TV, poor support from start

I found no manual to help me start. After turning it on I started to try and configure the system, the screen would go blank. I had to turn it of and on so many times, I was about to take it back to the store. After so help from my granddaughter I was able to get the TV going. Why don't you sent a manual of instructions on how to set this @#$@# up.

Saved another cable fee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a tv that was not part of our cable service. Antennas did not work as siding on house is steel. Do get frustrate sometimes with getting streaming connected with chrome cast and iPhone

Worst tv purchase I have made

When I first bought this Vizio model, the screen would often freeze while watching netflix. I thought "no big deal, a software update will fix it". And it did. Fast forward about 6 months later.... Smartcast fails often fails to load. There's basically an advertisement that pops up before anything else. Hitting the "home" button does nothing. You have to press the "back" button to get out of this screen. Overall the software is laggy and slow. I would compare it to a roku stick from 2014..... It's that slow. More recently, say the last month or so, the tv won't turn on without unplugging the power cord and plugin it back in. Yes, I've done a reboot probably 50 times and even factory reset, which makes you go back through the setup on EVERY streaming service. I would not recommend this tv. I also own Insignia and Fire tvs that work great...maybe go that route.

Wow!

Our kitchen 24” HD TV has made my wife happy

I purchased a 24” Vizio TV for the kitchen and she is now very happy , not having to struggle in trying to use different remotes. This new TV is set up for the super channels and I love it also.

Vizio "D" 32" TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this product for several months and had been much impressed with the on-line entertainment selection. Recently wi-fi went down at my residence. When finally restored I was able to reestablish communication with my lap-top PC but not with my Vizio. This has been very disappointing and makes me question the quality of this product.
