It started off great but then…

It was a great for the first 5 days exactly. Then I started to have problems with the picture. I changed over to watch AppleTv; the tv hesitated and the tv picture became staticky. Whenever I would go to an app, it was always a delayed response. I thought it was my WiFi at first.. but with my sons games being connected to it. It still did the same thing. So I had to take it back

wonderful purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture and colors are so crisp. It was easy to set up and we were able to add our streaming channels right away. The price of the TV was affordable and has everything that is needed to see what you want to watch, ///i would recommend this great buy abd Vizio D-series 40" to anyone.

Not so good

Well to start off with the Sound quality, even with adjustments, it still sound hollow. Then the picture quality, even with adjustments it's OK, but not the best. And yes, I am still having problems with my Headphones, they worked FINE with my Samsung. I plugged them into the Correct ports and they won't work with this TV. Hopefully someone in support can contact me with help. But in the whole, I have had better TV's.

Worked Great --- Just Not For Long

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this could be a great TV. I liked the features and felt like it was a great value. Watched it for about three days and it stopped working. Didn't power on --- then when it did, the sound didn't work. Took it back to the retailer for a refund --- so it's all good. Would recommend it , except for lack of reliability.

Great features, simple setup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Vizio, 2-3 months ago to replace a 20 year old picture tube type tv. This Vizio had so many great features and was so easy to setup, I went and bought another one to replace the flat screen of a different brand which was only 1 year old.

Run - go with another brand

The bad reviews are right. I never write reviews, but don't waste your time with this tv. The apps won't work, it constantly goes to a black screen, turns on and off. I restarted my router so many times, thinking it was my internet - but it's actually the tv as much my other smart tv works fine. So glad I kept the box and receipt!

Pretty Good TV, But Vizio but...

The TV works perfectly. Great picture. The app allows you to control the TV. But given that you have to agree to like 5 different EULAs, and log in just to use the app to control the TV, they are definitely collecting your data. So, if that's a concern, be aware.

Great TV for the bedroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced an older 40" we had in the bedroom. Wow! Same size but less than half the weight but twice the picture quality, plus all the extra goodies Vizio throws in with their free shows and movies. Of course, it was an amazing price too!

Overall Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a bad tv. Sometimes, I have issues with airplay on it and have to reboot the tv but it's good and functional otherwise. They've made improvements to the WatchFree app which used to be extremely difficult to navigate. It still could be better but it was much worse.

No Spectrum

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this Vizio D-series 40" TV for our guest room. After setting it up and downloading all the Applications we went to download the Spectrum App. only to learn that Vizio does not support Spectrum! This was very disappointing to say the least as it takes time to pick up the unit, unpack it and set it up only to find out that we just wasted time. The manufacturer should say on the box for the consumer to check with their cable carrier to see if it is compatible before the purchase of this brand; Vizio.
