Amazing quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this system two weeks ago for my girlfriend and myself. I've been overwhelmed since by everything about the VIZIO D-Series system, from the picture, to the sound and the ease of operation. VIZIO goes above and beyond any expectations. We both love it and may buy another for the bedroom.

Amazing, 1080p

Amazing picture and sound. Some men have lipstick, reds, blues and yellows are too brilliant. Strongly suggest convert to another remote you are used to as the Home key is dangerous. Input key will help. Turning off does not reboot. This is a proprietary computer first and TV second. Enjoy, once setup. I almost discarded, frustrated. Now, happy, but I have scars. Never buy again.

Not happy with my vizio tv, can't get to the apps

I bought my tv 5 months ago. Now it won't turn on unless I unplug it for 11seconds holding the power button. I do this daily and I don't have access to the apps on the tv. I have to push input button to get to regular channels. wish I didn't buy this tv, too complicated .

Nostalgic for OTA tv

Disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was casting to my old tv from a computer. It was a nuisance to get up and go to the computer just to switch channels. I thought a "smart tv" would make watching (streaming) live tv easier. However, when I turn on the Vizio it takes way too much navigation to reach the streaming service and get to the program menu. Furthermore, about once a week I have to unplug the Vizio or use the Reboot function in Admin.& Privacy to get it to work. Last week even rebooting failed to restore service, and I had to do a reset to factory settings. What a time-consuming pain in the neck. The maximum volume achievable is very weak, so now I"ll have to buy a sound bar, which I never needed with my old tv.

Excellent Smart TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is perfect, the picture quality us astounding, sound is great, the features and their free channels are perfect!! My first Big Screen TV was a Vizio 55" back in 2010 and it was amazing as well!! They make exceptional quality electronics and the price is an amazing deal!! My son qnd his gf bought me this TV for my birthday and after 7 years of banning TV d/t news drama, etc I'm going to attempt to watch it in my free time........Keep up the great work guys!

Quality TV for a great price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this TV for my bedroom. Perfect size. Installation took 10 mins including updating software. Just plugged in, connected to WIFI, answered afew questions, and I was connected. Picture was nice, sound is average. I would suggest a soundbar. If your on a budget, definitely the TV for you.

Excellent Quality and Value

This TV was perfect for my automotive workshop. It was the right size to fit on a shelf so I could watch videos while I do mechanic work. I also use it to watch college football games on Hulu while I'm working in the garage. It paired perfectly with the Vizio sound bar.

Bad tv one year old and useless.

I bought this tv, or one very like it, one year ago. On Dec. 15 it just got a whitish and distorted field over the picture. Very bad,. Just as the warranty expired. I would never buy another tv by this company. Also, many other brands of tvs in Walmart and on Amazon have bad reviews for the same thing. They all say they could not fix the problem. So now, I am going back to my 32” Sony that's 20 years old and has a beautiful picture. Check all ratings of tvs for this problem. Bad tv.

This is Not a TV it is a computer. I don't like it

After the update re recommendation the TV does not work properly nor does the remote I also have the sound bar and the remote crosses with the TV even when they are not connected to each other. I wish I would have bought a better brand this is not a TV it is a computer and it defeats the purpose of having a TV I do not like it I bought the TV a year ago and had no problems until 2 weeks ago when they wanted update

When the TV arrived however, there is not installed. I can live without it however. Nevertheless, I found the picture quality to be excellent, layout for the many, many programs were extremely user friendly, and the sound output was more than adequate
