Check your ports for compatibility!

I had to return this TV the next day after having it delivered. Could not determine on-line what type of ports for hml hookups (flat or round.) Went to store - no "out of box" model was on display. Nothing on sides of box (there used to be icons) to let you know types of hookups. Took a chance. These TVs used to have two ports to accomodate flat and round cable lines. Now - only one. Wrong one - only round and my hookup is flat. Whoever decided to remove printing the icons from the outsides boxes - to let you see what ports are on the TV backs - made a major consumer information mistake. I lost much time because of this.

Love this TV!

Bought the tv in our local Sam's Club, brought it home. We had to buy a wall mount for it. We attached the wall mount to the wall in the kitchen, plugged in the power cord and the Google Chromecast to the tv and the power outlet. Signed in to all of our apps on the tv, and within 1 hour we were watching our favorite shows. It was easy and this tv gets a beautiful picture and has awesome sound. A great deal for us to use while we are eating our meals while sitting at the kitchen table. Love it!

I read that this tv was a great brand. But thats not the case. I have been having problems with this tv since about a week and half of receiving it. The screen will turn green; why? I don't know. then the volume is terrible. one minute it's fine, then it go real low. In order to fix these issues I have to unplug it for a few seconds. I would have taken it back but my son threw out the box. Worst tv I ever had.

Replacement TV

This was an exact replacement for our present TV, that we have been using for several years. It has been an excellent TV but wasn't displaying properly so we purchased this one. Problem went away and we suspect it wasn't the TV after all. Since this was such a good price, we have decided to just keep it for when and if our present one gives out.

The picture is great on this TV. I have not had any troubles with it so far. I'm glad I didn't let the bad reviews ruin it for me. Super easy to set up and get going. Super easy to sign in to my apps that I already had on my phone. Love that the TV labeled my HDMI port for our dish so I wouldn't have to guess each time I wanted to switch over to that. So don't let a few bad reviews get to far into your head. Its a super nice TV.

Initial thoughts, etc.

No damage on arrival. Opened project looked stunning. Setup is relatively easy (screws were a bit tough for the leg supports). The update when you first turn on the tv takes about 10-15 min (maybe less with better wifi, idk). Picture quality looks great ( primary use for video games). Sound is quite nice as well. Would definitely recommend this TV. Will give future update if anything changes…

Poorly Designed

Garbage design if you don't plan on mounting to wall. The feet on the TV are poorly designed and make it wobbly. Multiple people have the same issue and honestly seems to be the case with multiple tvs of all brand's. I dont quite understand how these poor designs keep being released. not everyone wants to mount their tv to a wall.

Purchased this TV for a small living room area, placed it on the wall. I've had it 5 months and I dont use this area much, but it keeps me entertained while I'm in the ajoining kitchen. It has a nice clear picture, and the speakers are clear. As being an avid Vizio consumer, and have purchased others previously, I'm satisfied so far with this purchase.

it's an average tv when it comes to display however i've had it just over a year now and it drives me insane. it will randomly go into “store mode” for no reason, constantly makes me go through setup and the buttons lag when trying to change volume or make selections. needless to say if it's for a kids room it's probably fine but for any thing else i wouldn't buy it.

STAY AWAY ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!

This is by far the worst tv I have ever bought. 1st it takes forever to turn on. 2nd half the time it freezes. 3rd almost all the apps don't have sound and it takes a day or 2 to get sound back. I could go on and on about how horrible this tv is but I am not going to waist anymore time so don't waist yours by getting this CRAP!!
