After going thru 2 different home office shredders, I finally broke down and decided to shell out the extra bucks for something sturdier. This shredder does not disappoint! It is exactly what I was looking for - it shreds quickly and quietly, is easy to clean and use.

I have owned several personal shredders and none of the previous ones hold a cancle to this one. It cost me a little more, but is certainly money well spent. When they say it is jam-proof, that is the truth. The display panel and lights on top of the unit won't allow you to jam it if you are paying any attention to what you are doing. You don't need to guess about anything when using it.

Have shredded a DVD, credit card, and a CD, without it jamming. Shredded a lot of papers, again no jamming. This is an excellent shredder, wish the price would be a little lower for a 5 star rating. But never the less, it is an excellent shredder. Highly recommend it.

The little I have used this product it has performed exceptionally well. I had 2 issues before I started using it. The oiling procedure and use and fit of the bags. There is a totally different oiling procedure shown on line then the one shown in the manual and the fit and use of the bags. I contacted Fellowes and they said to use the on line oiling procedure and you do not need to put the bags in the bin and can dump it when full.

I cheked on the internet, sales flyers, office supply stores and not one of them could beat Wal-Marts price for this great shredder. Most of them were between 50 to 150% higher and shipping was fast. I am 100% satisfied with Wal-Marts easy ordering and shipping on the net. I always check on the net with Wal-Mart first before making any purchases. Best prices and service. thank you Wal-Mart. vic

The day it came in, I was able to shred 4 large garbage bags of papers. It stops when it's too hot, so you need patience. I think that it's better to stop than to overheat and not work as others I have purchased in the past. I hope I don't have to buy another one, but if I do, It will be from Fellowes at Sam's Club.

I had to get rid of several years of receipts and other documentation. This shredder went through it with a breeze. Never clogged up or overheated. I love the way it lets me know the basket is full. And when I need to empty the basket, I just have to pull it out instead of having to lift the heavy top off, as so many of them have you do. It cost a little more but very much worth it. I would also like to add that it is very quiet for a shredder.

I bought this shredder to replace my old Fellowes strip cut shredder that was still working after many years because I wanted a cross cut shredder. This shredder is a good value for the money and works beautifully. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because I was disappointed that the waste basket was so small (6 gallons) and I would have liked it to be bigger which could have been accomplished by the manufacturer making it a little taller.

I have had many shredders and this is by far the best quality and the most quiet shredder I have ever had. Lots of safety features. I also like that you cant put to many sheets of paper in at one time. It simply wont run if there are to many pieces. Its a bit pricey, but with the quality of Fellowes shredders I expect it to last a long time. Well worth the investment.

This replaced another Fellows that finally quit after several years. I am a casual user so I can't comment on how it operates with bulk shredding and possible jamming. But it is quieter than the last fellows for the same size unit. Case is a little flimsy, but the head with the cutting blades is very robust. I like the fill window as well.
