I KNOW my purchase was more than your average boxed mattress. But I sleep sound, less pain and confident that my mattress is going to last! Our last purchase was over 20 years ago! That is actual value for your money!

We tried another brand first and ended up returning that mattress. The other mattress was a hybrid and it just to firm. We will continue to buy Tempur-pedic mattresses when we are ready for our next one.

It's been a week of use, and immediately I noticed that I have been sleeping faster, better, and with less to no wakeup soreness. Heat has only been an issue when our room has failed to stay cool. Otherwise, I wouldn't notice a negative difference compared to other mattresses I've slept on. Phenomenal product!

I'm a side sleeper and I move throughout the night, but I also have some back problems from some car accidents, so I needed support with some "give". This mattress has it all. A nice soft top layer to allow some room for my shoulder, but enough firmness fo give my back some much needed support. I fall asleep fast and sleep well, and look forward to naps and bedtime. Even my cat sleeps on the bed more often, and the motion transfer reducing technology means I don't get rude faces when I get up now.

It's the right firmness for comfort. I have trouble staying asleep at night but since about two weeks into sleeping on this mattress, my rem and deep sleep have been better. It has even helped my husband with his snoring. My hands do not fall asleep anymore either. I'm up very early in the morning to go to the gym, and the stillness of the mattress doesn't wake my husband. Nor does it wake me when he comes to bed late at night. We got a cover for the mattress for under the sheets and it's helped prevent the cats from scratching. They seem to like it as well, and have not been tempted to scratch it.

Had I known how amazing this bed and base was, I would have bought it years ago, even before my first car!!!! I think tempurpedic could be the solution for world peace! If everyone in the world owned one everyone would be so happy and calm and there would be no more fighting.

I bought it to replace my 20 year old Tempur-pedic mattress after testing a new mattress at a relative's home and realizing mine had lost some comfort over the last 20 years. Even 20 years old, it was still comfortable and I was content with it, but I realized a new mattress would be even better and even more comfortable, so I replaced it with a new one. I love it. I have trouble sleeping, but my sleep difficulties have nothing to do with the mattress. Even laying awake on the mattress for hours is so relaxing, as I feel muscle tension leaving my body, and only the constant insomnia and noise in my head keep me awake. Still, though, I'm physically comfortable as I lay awake. I will never, ever buy a different brand mattress. I may need to replace this one in a decade or two, when I realize that it ,ay have started to be not quite as good as a newer one would be,

By the time, the delivery team was ready to pick it up, I started to feel more comfortable on the mattress but thought I was too far into the return process to turn back. I'm back on a traditional mattress and am realizing the real benefits of the Tempurpedic. I strongly recommend that you give this mattress about 4-5 weeks before you judge it.

But I cannot sleep on it very long. I wake up about every 2 hours with horrible back pain from how hard it is

Okay, this is a review of the mattress itself not the delivery service they use, because in my case that.was.a.mess. I'm a side sleeper, he's a stomach sleeper (how do you all do that?!). Our last mattress was a choose your number brand (can't list name here). We liked that one as we could each adjust our side, however the foam on the edges wore from use and began to sag. After a couple years he just couldn't get comfortable. So I did some research and we decided to try this one. It took about a week to get used to as it does feel different. Now we have had it for 2 months and we are both sleeping comfortably. I ordered online after testing out in a local store. Next time I would probably order from my local store so they could deal with any shipping issues.
