Exactly what you want in boiled peanuts. While these are fine right out of the can, or dumped into a crockpot on high for a few hours to get them nice and soft, I've found an even more perfect method of preparation. Place the peanuts and their brine into an Instant Pot, close the lid/vent, and cook on Manual Pressure (High) for 25-30 minutes. Once they're done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 30 minutes, and then manually release any that's left. A piping hot, soft but not mushy, perfectly salty snack that will transport you back to your childhood and road trips with the family.

Salty compared to the cajun ones. Sam's was out of the the cajun/hot ones. We add them to our crawfish boils all the time. This was the 1st time we noticed the salt in them but we noticed it before we added them to the boil...I like to sneak a few while waiting to add them to the boil. Maybe the cajun spice masks the salt? Either way, they were good, but the cajun ones are better.

Very delicious Southern Snack. On the downside, the cans are not consistent. One time they are recently boiled %26 delicious but the next time they are undercooked %26 not as good but still edible. Just depends on how much of a boiled peanut snob you are 😉

I have to say that the boiled peanuts from this brand are a little crunchy. However, what I did was I boiled these peanuts for 45 min. I loved the results. The peanuts became very soft. Boiled peanuts are one of my favorites. The price of this item is very reasonable as well.

the canned boiked peanuts are always so good and I usually get them in a small can.. I had opted to get the large can in case the small cans were not available. I will not be doing that again meaning I will not be getting a large can anymore as it could not be open with my can opener either the electric one or the manual. I had to do something the old-fashioned way. it didn't affect the taste of the wonderful peanuts.. just made it difficult to get the can open because it was so large.
