Exactly what you want in boiled peanuts. While these are fine right out of the can, or dumped into a crockpot on high for a few hours to get them nice and soft, I've found an even more perfect method of preparation. Place the peanuts and their brine into an Instant Pot, close the lid/vent, and cook on Manual Pressure (High) for 25-30 minutes. Once they're done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 30 minutes, and then manually release any that's left. A piping hot, soft but not mushy, perfectly salty snack that will transport you back to your childhood and road trips with the family.

Salty compared to the cajun ones. Sam's was out of the the cajun/hot ones. We add them to our crawfish boils all the time. This was the 1st time we noticed the salt in them but we noticed it before we added them to the boil...I like to sneak a few while waiting to add them to the boil. Maybe the cajun spice masks the salt? Either way, they were good, but the cajun ones are better.

my grandchildren love these, they are going to each get their own for Christmas.
