This is my first memory foam mattress. It's ok, I seem to be waking up with a sore lower back which I didn't with my pillow top. Maybe it just needs some breaking in? I do love the adjustable base... makes it so much more comfortable when reading or watching tv in bed.

XL Twin Hybrid Mattresses with the Ease Base. Fantastic! We're both late 60's with various long time issues. Severe back issues are mine, neuropathy and joint problems for him. Extreme reduction in pain levels and reduced fatigue as well. We go to bed in Zero Gravity most every night, read and let our bodies relax, then adjust for sleep. It works so well for us both. Hint. Buy regular twin sheets. They stay on, the XL's not so great. I think ours 11" so don't need deep pockets.

The only thing I am slightly concerned about is that it is definitely more compressed where I sleep. I'm not sure if this is because it's only a few months old and needs to settle or what? Not too worried though given that the warranty will cover a replacement if it becomes too much of a problem.

I bought the Adapt to replace my 2001 old school era Tempurpedic mattress. It was a seemless switch without any adjustment period. Just more supportive, pressure free, comfortable sleep. Spring mattresses of all sorts put pressure on my hips that leaves me tossing and turning all night. I am highly sensitive. But not my Tempurpedic! I'm a fan for life.

I purchased a Stern and Foster firm mattress, slept on it for 30 days , I returned it. I jumped from mattress to mattress like the 3 Bears , finally I selected the The Tempurpedic Adapt Medium Hybrid, I have slept on it for 30 days , I feel much better . I still wake up with a little pain in my hip area, hopefully it will get better Now I need to look for a pillow that will help my neck !!!

There are so many benefits to owning one of these mattresses. The mattresses are made to last an extremely long time, unlike regular mattress where you generally need to replace them after 10 years. And, because they are form fitted to your area, you aren't interrupted at night when your partner moves or gets out of bed. Whenever we leave to visit somewhere, our first comment is always how much we want to get back to our tempurpedic :). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased my first Tempurpedic mattress back in 2004. It was a California King size mattress and I really liked it. Earlier this year I decided to downsize and purchase a Queen size mattress. There are so many memory foam mattresses out there these days, and believe me, I read up on all of them. In the end, I decided to purchase the Tempur-Adapt mattress. I can tell you that I made the right choice. I love it better than my old Tempurpedic mattress and I sleep even better now than I did before! I now fall asleep within the first ten minutes and sleep soundly throughout the night. This mattress isn't cold and hard when I first lay down, nor does it heat me up too much as some memory foam mattresses do. It's perfect for me! Just to let you know, my mattress arrived a couple of weeks before upgrades were done in my home. I ended up having to wait a couple of months before I could sleep on it for the first time, and it was well worth the wait! In case you are wondering what happened to my old Tempurpedic mattress, my daughter wouldn't let me get rid of it so now she is sleeping on it. You can't go wrong with a Tempurpedic!

OMG! OMG! I've heard of a few love-hate relationships with owners of Tempur-Pedic mattresses over the years, but I'm here to tell my story. As a new owner of the Adapt Hybrid I'm sold! This is the most comfortable mattress that I've ever owned, and I've owned a few over my lifetime. Furthermore, it's affordable! Thank you Tempur-Pedic for providing your customers with an unbelievable sleeping experience.

A lot of people don't know how bad their mattress is until they sleep on a Tempur- Adapt, Medium Hybrid. I was staying at a B&B and they had one. I literally did not want to leave that mattress. At home, I was getting up each morning and not realizing how bad my body felt some days but now that I am sleeping on the best, I wake up feeling well rested, and my body feels much more aligned. I sleep like a log every night! Having a Tempur Pedic mattress should be a priority for everyone!!

Was very very hopeful about this mattress, but I am side sleeper and get no support in my lower back. I wake up everyday with so much back pain, and toss and turn all night. We used our sleep trial to get this mattress so I'm unfortunately stuck with it and pain for a long time. Would only recommend this product if you are very small and have narrow hips and shoulders.
