[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When selecting the new bed I wanted, a did a TON of research. I had an entire spreadsheet of different memory foam mattresses filled with price, layer material, layer thickness, reviews, fees, density per foot, and I looked into the science behind the different materials, calculations for density, and what density and material is best for different body types and sleeper styles. Tempurpedic was on the list, but I actually ignored it due to the price. I decided on which one I wanted and went to a mattress store to lay on it before purchasing. When I got there they also had tempurpedic mattresses. So I said, why not try them out. After everything, I left that store and immediately bought a tempurpedic. It was worth it. They are the price they are for a reason. Other "bed in a box" brands just aren't quality compared. The only negative is that the bed does retain heat a bit. However, I do think that just comes with the territory of memory foam from what I found in my research. When I tested a few in the store, I found that the non tempurpedics heated up MUCH faster. Although i am happy with the medium, I do wish that I had purchased the soft mattress. I weigh 115 lb and I think I don't weigh enough for it to cradle me as much as I'd like. Overall, quality bed, worth the money.

I've had my mattress and adjustable base for one year. I have always struggled with the night... Falling asleep, waking at the smallest sounds. I am high strung and I've tried many prescriptions, etc. My routine is turn on the sound machine, ear plugs and in bed by 9pm; up at 4am. I can say I am no longer grouchy when I wake. I'm 38 now and I feel the most rested I've ever felt. I use the Tempur Cloud breeze dual cooling pillow (I have a blown disc in my neck) and I put a regular hard pillow between my knees when I'm side sleeping. This bed is worth every penny and I'm so happy I sleep well these days. My remote the base stopped working. I called- was sent a replacement right away. I don't think anyone would be disappointed going with tempur

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased this mattress and am very pleased! I work as a cardiac nurse with long shifts and sleep at night is crucial. My old spring mattress was uncomfortable and I would wake up very sore. I also have scoliosis with chronic back pain. Ever since I got my new mattress, I no longer wake up with aches and pains. What an excellent purchase!

We're sleeping very well after our purchase. Super stoked Magdi Ahmed was patient with us while we were in the La Jolla store. He educated us about the different beds and let us try all the beds before we made our decision. He was also knowledgeable about which pillows worked well with sleeping positions and mattress style, very helpful. So far we are very pleased with our decision to buy a Tempurpedic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Tempur-Pedic mattress (Adapt Medium) is my favorite mattress that I've ever slept on. With my old mattresses I would wake up with back and hip pain feeling more tired than when I went to sleep. Since getting this mattress I wake up refreshed every day and feel great.

I am a large person. 6'-7" - 250 LBS. This bed has zero support and is very hot. The deeper my body sinks into the mattress, the hotter it gets. We have had our mattress for 1 year, and I was hoping that my experience would improve, but it has not. I still wake up every morning stiff and longing for some comfort. Not what we were expecting or wanted. We tried to get a refund but the allowed time has already passed.

I am a side sleeper and this mattress is very uncomfortable for that. I wake with terrible hip pain and don't sleep all night. I would have exchanged it but had a fractured foot and couldn't get in to mattress firm before the 120 days were up. I would never buy this mattress again. Overpriced for how uncomfortable it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pressure points in my hip and back are relieved with this mattress and adjustable base. I am concerned about the edge durability. However, if the edge fails the warranty should cover. I look forward to bed every night!

This mattress started out great, however over time a large crack developed in the mattress from on end to the other. The mattress was supported by tempurpedic box springs and had never been abused. I tried to file a warranty claim and tempurpedic denied it saying that the mattress had signs of mistreatment. As a family of 5 with 3 small kids we had one small spill on the mattress, which was cleaned up properly following tempurpedics guidelines. However the warranty for this now unusable mattress was denied and i am going to have to purchase another mattress-definitely not a tempurpedic. Beware.

I've owned my Adapt for a little less than 3 years. It is currently sitting on a support system rated to hold up under 500 pounds on each side. The mattress has gone nearly flat under weight in the mid section creating a lot of back pain for both my wife and I. We put in for a warranty claim and were turned down because we didn't have their base under it. The mattress was great while it lasted (a year before I started having issues and 2 and a half years for my wife), however, for the increased price of the mattress plus the support system required for it to not fall apart is too high in comparison to cheaper mattresses that are just as comfortable and last longer without the additional cost of a high tech support system.
