Haven't had a bad night of sleep yet. Only thing I will say is the mattress made us realize how bad our pillows are! We will be upgrading to the tempurpedic pillows as soon as possible! 1 hour of sleep on a tempurpedic equals 6 hours on a traditional mattress. It's in the math people! Quality of sleep gives you quality of life!

My experience has been bad. I bought the mattress from a local mattress company. When I started to have back problems, I called the number for Tempur-Pedic that said "Need Help? Talk to a sleep Expert." They refused to help me other than to tell me to call the mattress store since I did not buy the mattress direct from Tempur-Pedic. When one spends a lot of money to buy an expensive mattress, one would want to try it out first and you can't do that by ordering it directly from the manufacturer, I would think. I think I got the run around from Tempur-Pedic. I spent a lot of money for an expensive mattress and they only were willing to talk about if there was a factory defect. A back problem was a "comfort" issue and I was told to call the mattress store. The most useful comments suggested below says to contain specific information: How this product has changed my life: I have a back problem now. I don't know if it was coincidental with the purchase of the Tempur-Pedic mattress. But despite giving a phone number to call for help, I felt that they blew me off. Things you love about it: Nothing Things you don't love about it: I spent a lot of money to get a superior mattress, and I don't know if it is contributing to my back problem or not, but Tempur-Pedic in my opinion is giving me no useful help.

I've had the bed for over a month and every day wake up with an extremely painful low back. I also can't stay asleep for long before waking up with bad pain. I had upper back and shoulder pain with my old mattress but never low back pain. As an exclusive side sleeper with chronic upper back pain I'm thinking i may need more support. It is a nice mattress, just doesn't work for me. I'm exchanging it for a sealy posturepedic hybrid kelburn. It's not worth the cost to try another tempurpedic as I thought the firmer one was too firm

I have never loved my mattress. This mattress is worth every penny. I struggled with hip and leg pain for many years and was contemplating surgery. This mattress has given me back the ability to sleep and dream again. It's literally been years since I have slept throughout the night. Thank you Tempur Pedic. I will never go back to the other expensive mattresses I have purchased. If there were ten stars available, that is what I would give this mattress.

Mattress was purchased for help with back pain and pressure point issues. Mattress was very firm but is softening. I like the mattress but it is very HOT. My initial impression is not a great one as far as comfort for the price. I guess time will tell. Btw, the cloud pillow is hot as well. Hopefully I can remedy the situation. I think the bed could be great if it was just cooler.

First night with my new mattress and my back didn't hurt and had a restful night. I've had this mattress for about a year now and still love it. The mattress does hold heat though for those that run hot.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I purchased the tempur adapt hybrid medium about a month ago, and oh my goodness, we've never slept better in our lives. I'm trying to figure out why we slept on our old, awful mattress for so long. The medium adapt is the perfect blend between soft and firm. It feels really firm when you plop down on it, but as soon as you lay down, it begins to form ever so slightly around your body. You're basically cradled in this perfect foam cloud, but it's still firm enough to help alleviate any back, neck or shoulder pain! For about three years now, I've had chronic neck and back pain (I'm 33, so still young) that I think was caused from a nonsupportive mattress. Since buying the tempur adapt, my neck and back pain is almost completely gone. This mattress has literally improved my life! I don't hurt all day anymore. If you're on the fence, just try it! We absolutely love it! Oh, and yes, it does seem really firm when you first get it, but after a month, it has broken in nicely and isn't nearly as firm as when we first slept on it. I also followed the suggestion of slowly walking on the mattress upon receiving it to help speed up the break-in process.

I struggle with back problems and have been waking up lately with stiffness and difficulty getting out of bed after a nights sleep. We had a 10+ year old first gen memory foam mattress that was just simply at the end of its life and it made sure to let us know every morning. Since receiving this mattress, I feel I have been getting so much better sleep and not tossing and turning all night. When I first lay down, I just simply sink into the bed just a little bit and have the support I need all across my body. My legs get support, my back gets support and my shoulders get support. The one thing that I dont like about foam mattresses is that they seem to be a little warmer but we have since put a cooling mattress protector on and it is so much cooler to sleep on now. Overall I love this mattress and it's making me regret every day that I waited to replace it so that I could have started to feel better sooner. Dont hesitate to buy and just do it and get a better nights sleep.

This is the second Tempur Pedic we have owed. The other one lasted more than 15 years. We just love them and have suggested to family and friends. Our son purchased one too. No back aches or aches of any kind after a good nights sleep. Real comfortable.

Sooo comfy! I actually work, play, eat and sleep on this mattress! I take calls from my bed, love eating in bed and I get the best sleep ever! And, note a sound sleep = a sound mind. :-) It feels almost like I'm floating on a gel is in the mattress. It is soft and pliable yet firm enough to give the exact right support. Honestly it's the BEST mattress I've ever slept on! True perfection!
