We just moved into a new home and purchased the third for our 11 year old son. We all sleep better. Highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I had a pillow top mattress before we upgraded to Tempur-Pedic. We thought the pillow-top was just fine but often struggled with back, hip, and shoulder pain as we grew older and routinely lifted our ever-growing toddler. Recently we upgraded from a queen to a king size bed and decided to splurge on a Tempur-Pedic mattress. We will never go back. I used to be awoken by my husband tossing and turning - but not with the Tempur-Pedic! I never ever realized how disrupted my sleep was until I was able to sleep soundly. Also, the back, hip, and shoulder pain I mentioned; markedly decreased. The Tempur-Pedic wraps your body and alleviates the stresses of the day. Now when I travel and have to suffer with a normal hotel mattress, I miss home. We love this mattress so much we are gifting my parents a 3 inch Tempur-Pedic mattress topper for Christmas!

My husband loves this bed and is getting better sleep than ever before. He did not sleep well before and he says this bed has prevented him from tossing and turning as much. He prefers a more firm bed and I prefer the more plush beds. I realize this bed is supposed to be on the firmer side, but I'm having a hard time adjusting to just how firm it is-especially when I flip on my side. I toss and turn more than I expected to and when I do, it takes the bed some time to adjust to my new sleep position. I have also been getting very hot every night and have had a hard time regulating my temperature in this bed. Between my husband and I, the bed becomes a heater and we have to turn the air conditioner down to 67° or lower for a semi-comfortable sleeping temperature. I will disclose that I'm 12 weeks pregnant and that may have something to do with my experience.

After our dealer finally delivered the right bed, I personally love it, more nights of restful sleep for me. My husband apparently is never getting a restful nights sleep. This mattress is not cooling by any stretch of the imagine.... I mean unless you sleep on only the mattress. But you see here's the kicker. You have a warranty for this bed, as long as there are no stains etc. So you are forced into buying a cover, which keeps you from potentially staining the mattress but probably obscures the "cooling" feature of said mattress. I'm purely guessing here, but I would think my husband profuse sweating would qualify as a stain which would render the warranty void according to our dealer. So if this mattress really is cooling we would never know. Same goes for these awful "cooling" pillows, they do not work either. They didn't offer pillow covers, so I am sure they are no longer under warranty. Idk its an awful lot of money to spend on the possibilty of a cooling good nights sleep. Not sure I could recommend this to everyone, especially to those without a diagnosed reason for hot sleeping with sweating. Yet I'm happy with this mattress and so is my back, which I have a herniated disc and degenerative disc disease and I usually wake up pretty refreshed and feeling well with my back!

I am bought two mattresses in November for my mom and I. Both mattresses at that time were firm. About a month later I returned mines because it was still really hard and made my whole body hurt. I would get up in the morning and my whole body would be hurting. I have an adjustable base but it didn't matter if I was laying flat out elevated. I got the medium which is OK but I still get up in the morning with back aches. I purchased this bed because it was said to be top of the line, would conform to your body and help to relief body aches this is not the case. I am not satisfied with this product because it did not live up to the hype, and especially the price that I paid for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress replaced a Nectar which replaced an older sagging foam mattress. The Nectar is also rated as a medium firmness according to various mattress review/advertising sites but it conform to your body much like a slab of concrete does. I've been dealing with lower back pain for several years now and with the Nectar I could only lay on my back and would wake up with more stiffness and soreness than I had before going to sleep. The Tempur-Adapt has been amazing for my back regardless if I sleep on my back, stomach or side. When I go to sleep with a sore back from overuse I wake up with zero pain. Waking up pain free more than makes up for the cost of the mattress.

Were finally getting a good nights sleep we took our 1 year old adapt mattress off the frame and brought a hybrid mattress on line for a quarter of the price with a better warranty now we are sleeping thru the night with no pain best decision ever was getting rid of the Tempur-pedic mattress don't waste your money on a name brand mattress poor quality bad service and a company that doesn't stand behind there product

I wish I had paid more attention to below 4-star reviews. I have had it over 30 days now and it not only has the suggested cover on but also 2 other mattress pads which I didn't skimp on. It does conform to your body when sleeping but rolling over is like crawling out of a hole every time you roll over. Wish I had known there was no way to return this mattress unless purchased thru Tempur-Pedic.

I am giving it three stars because I feel that the mattress is too firm for what we wanted and the Tempur-Adapt does not have a softer option. We are considering returning because we want to be in love with our mattress at the price we've paid.
