This mattress is great and I am sleeping so much better. It's a little warmer than I was expecting even with the cooling mattress protecting cover so if you sleep hot make sure you get a cooling topper and not just the protective cover. Overall I'm very happy with my purchase and highly recommend this mattress and Tempur-pedic!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this mattress. I love that the top is like a cooling material. This helps regulate temperature at night. Since I have been sleeping on this it has greatly improved my sleeping as well as back/hip pain. It's just the right amount of support between soft and medium. I also like the amount of motion transfer it has. It keeps us from disturbing each other at night. I find that I don't wake up as much during the night anymore. This is a great mattress for the price. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new mattress.

We purchased our mattress in December of 2016 and I was excited to try it out. I was hoping that the memory foam would help with my shoulders, low back, etc. My husband didn't have any issues. When we went to the store to check the mattresses out, the salesman made a big deal about us laying down on the mattresses so we could select the one that best fit our needs. Well the Medium firm mattress felt wonderful. And we laid on it for quite a while. We also tried the Soft one and it was very soft and didn't seem to have any support. So after discussing with the salesman, he said that it would probably take 60 days to break in the mattress so that it would be like the one we tried in the store. And if we were not happy with it, we could return it for a different one. Within 30 days, both my husband and I could hardly walk when we got up in the morning. The mattress was so hard. I put a foam pad on it and that helped a little. So we went back to the store to see if we could get a different one. They said we should give it more time and that we should not have added the foam - well they weren't sleeping on the darned thing. They also said we could trade it in for the Soft mattress but it would cost more money. I was really frustrated. The thing already cost us an arm and a leg, I felt we had already paid too much and didn't want to pay more money only to find out the soft one wouldn't work either. They also said that the reason the medium mattress felt so good at the store was because so many people had laid on it, trying it out, so it was broken in really good. So we went home disappointed and feeling like we were ripped off and determined to make the mattress work for us so we didn't have to pay more money to the store. After 90 days, the mattress was still as hard as it had been day 1. So we put the foam pad back on it. It has now been over 2 years and it is still as hard as it was on day 1. And yes, the foam pad is still on there. With the foam pad, we aren't limping out of bed. I firmly believe we were delivered the hard mattress. Lessons learned - (1) it does not help to try out mattress in the store, as they are not what you will receive; (2) don't believe the salesman when he says you can bring it back, there will be a catch; (3) buy a cheaper mattress so you can afford to get another one when the new one doesn't work out. I'm writing this at 1:30 am because I can't sleep, my shoulders are aching from laying on the mattress.

My tempur-pedic is only five years old sleeping in a hole not comfortable anymore have tried to get a new one but company needed pictures an I did that an they told me it's not good enough so I took more pictures with a ruler for depth an a long broom stick for depth still no new mattress, this company sucks!

I purchased a Stern and Foster firm mattress, slept on it for 30 days , I returned it. I jumped from mattress to mattress like the 3 Bears , finally I selected the The Tempurpedic Adapt Medium Hybrid, I have slept on it for 30 days , I feel much better . I still wake up with a little pain in my hip area, hopefully it will get better Now I need to look for a pillow that will help my neck !!!

After reading through, watching tons of reviews, and trying out many mattresses I chose the Tempur Adapt. I sleep through the night. In one week my back, neck, and hip pain are gone! It was the poor mattress previous sleeping on. Truly an amazing difference. Even the dog loves it he digs the covers off so he's aon the actual bed. Give yourself a week + to get used to it especially if you slept on an innnerspring in the past it's different but a great different. Get the pillows to it's all worth the cost. I am going to use the 90 day sleep guarantee and step up one level to the Tempur Pro Adapt. Just a bit more cost wise but for me I want the additional 1" APR, (Advanced Pressure Relief), material and bit more cooling concept as I sleep hot. If you are considering a new mattress look no further!

The Adapt foam mattress molds to body contours, cradling and providing unparalleled support. The medium-firm foam has proven to be comfortable for back, side and stomach sleeping. Best of all, falling asleep and waking up with asleep limbs has ceased. The only complaint has been Tempur-pedic's mattress Warranty which requires the use of a mattress foundation. We purchased the ultra low profile foundation for our platform bed frame. Unfortunately, the depth of the mattress foundation plus mattress appears dimensionally out of proportion for the platform bed frame.

Well, first, we have not had the mattress and base very long, and it is possible that any review would differ over a longer run. Having said this, it appears that my wife and I (on a King long twin) bed, sleep more soundly. My wife has had serious back surgery, over the years, and it also seems that her constant pain is somewhat reduced using this mattress. I work out and push myself. I find that various positions of the base allow for more comfort dealing with exercised- pushed muscles. Our previous mattress was a very good and expensive latex and while the Temper-Pedic allows for a better sleep, I do miss an edging, as it provided a more substantial mounting into bed, especially since my wife and I are on the shorter size. I have figured it out, that is, getting into bed, but if one uses, say, bamboo sheets or other slippery ones, there is always the fear of sliding back to the floor if the mount is not successful. Thankfully, this has not happened, and the base is as low as it goes.

This mattress is terrible. It is way too soft. I wouldn't call this a medium firmness. I sink in to the mattress and if my husband lays next to me, I am falling in to the dent he makes, and he is not a big guy. Every day I wake up feeling like I got hit by a bus. I wish I could return it buy the 90 day window closed unfortunately. I will never buy another Tempurpedic. I wasted a lot of money on a subpar mattress.
