[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our second Tempur-pedic mattress. We had our first once for 15 years before it was ready to be replaced. We tried another brand first and ended up returning that mattress. The other mattress was a hybrid and it just to firm. We will continue to buy Tempur-pedic mattresses when we are ready for our next one.

Because I have lower back issues and am a side sleeper with arthritis in my shoulders, hips, I ordered the medium. After sleeping on the mattress for a few months, the mattress is still too hard for me. I do not get pressure point relief.

I bought this to replace a previous Tempurpedic that was 13 years old, and had lost a lot of its resilience. This one performs as well as the older one except in one regard. The cover on this one is much more slippery than my prior one, so much so that it is impossible to keep the bottom sheet tucked under it. With the slightest tension, it slides out. I have resorted to those elastic suspender things to try to hold the edges of the sheet under, but they aren't terribly effective either. Seems to me that things would be much better if the underside of the mattress cover was made out of a material that had a much higher level of friction.

Moved from a bed in a box to this, as my prior experiences with Tempurpedic was always a great nights sleep. I went with the hybrid as it seemed to imply a bit more support would be gained from the springs. After 3 nights, I was waking up with back pain nearly hourly, having to adjust position (get out of the crater) to fall back asleep. Approximately 1 month out now, it has only gotten worse and I am going to return the mattress. Truly unfortunate, but it was it is. I'm a 5'10 200lb person, so not small, but not huge. My wife is 5'4 130lb, and also is shocked by the prior mattress being more supportive (this was the reason we moved on from it).

We had a Tempur-Pedic mattress for 19 years. The best sleep ever: no tossing and turning all night. Whenever we traveled, we couldn't wait to get home to our Tempur-Pedic to get a good night's sleep. We recently decided to get a new mattress and chose a Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed. Now we don't have to prop up pillows to read or recover from surgeries. For us, it is still the best night's sleep! There are a lot more choices of models and firmness now, so be sure to explore all your options. And don't be surprised when your pets, kids, and grandkids want to sleep in *your* bed.

I was hesitant to get a product with memory foam but have found this to be very comfortable as it forms to my body, and the hybrid option provides good support. I have hip problems and these features are helping me to sleep so much better. A side note: My 19 y.o. cat absolutely loves it for his old bones too! This is all true once I get into the bed. My only issue is that, because the bed is so high, the mattress has no "bounce", so doesn't help you while getting into the bed. I solved that by getting a bed step.

I've owned a double size Tempurpedic for many years, and decided I wanted to have more room. My new Tempurpedic is fantastic. They last forever!! I never have sore or achy bones upon rising in the morning. And I wake up refreshed. I would not recommend owning any other mattress!!

When you purchase the mattress it says it is Medium Firm. This is not firm AT ALL. I might exchange for the next firmest model. I was trying to not spend a ton, thinking this would be middle of the road like my last one from 12 years ago...definitely not the case. I'm disappointed but I know I can exchange it, still a pain though. If you like a soft mattress then you would enjoy this. I need a little firmer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new mattress from Tempur-Pedic is wonderful!!! After a hard day at work, it is like laying on fluffy clouds. My back hasn't felt better!!! The quality of the mattress is great and I look forward to keeping this mattress a long time.

I am happy with my new Tempur-Pedic and find it very comfortable. I was looking for the mattress closest to my original Tempur-Pedic that I purchased almost 17 years ago when the only choices were 8", 10" and 12" thickness. I had the 10" and found it to be the best mattress I ever had!! The Tempur-Adapt Medium is advertised as the original and I do like it very much. My only negative is I don't feel like it is as well made as my original and will probably not last as long in the support.
