They did seem to help some but are just to hard for me to take. I gave some of them to my son and his girl friend. They had no problem swallowing them and said that it helped them. Woke bolt upright 2 hours later when my bowels liquified. Had to stay home until noon because I was a complete zombie and felt it would be unsafe to drive. My cough has subsided a little but not as much as expected. Side effects of the 1200 mg tablet are not worth it, I may consider a lower dose for next time. There should be a warning about operating heavy machinery on the label, I was completely incapacitated for 6 hours. Also there is no mention of possible side effects on the box.
