I was disappointed with the setup because it sounded like a magic remote was included and there is no place in town to purchase one. The setup was very confusing and would skip steps. The voice commands were too fast to understand.

Serious light bleed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this set about two weeks ago, and was happy with it until I used some of the smart apps.The set looks great with a cable signal or OTA. But the problem came when I used the Netflix app. In dark scenes there was a wide swath of light that rose up from the bottom of the screen and moved to the outside of the screen. This also happens when using the Prime Amazon app. The light bleed was there all the time but was most pronounced in dark scenes. Really annoying. Other then that it's a nice set, but I could not live with it. I tried every picture adjustment the set offered, but no luck. Took it back and got something else.

I would like to suggest that the LG thin in app needs some work. I have been trying to link Alexa with the tv and it won’t work. It says to use the LG thin app but it won’t link it either. Been a little frustrating because I am trying to turn my house into a smart house. Just don’t know if the apps on tv are not working or the lg thin in. Have don my research and can’t get it to work. Every other feature from the TV is amazing. I probably will keep buying lg for the superior picture quality.

burn smell emitting from tv

After checking the entire house we determined that the smell was coming from the tv. We unplugged the tv from the outlet. The next morning we could still smell the burned oder from the tv. We returned the tv for a full refund.

The picture quality is pretty good, we found it comparable to other televisions in its class. The thing we are impressed with the most is the sound quality. This television has great sound, and we love how it turns our soundbar volume up and down along with the tv volume using the remote. All in all, we are happy with our purchase.

I purchased the tv about a month ago and it has been a hassle to have since. The tv is currently unplugged because it keeps turn off on its own and unable to turn it back on. Had issues connecting the tv to WiFi. After setting the tv up initially, had to reset to manufacture mode and set up tv using my phone as a hotspot, then was barely able to connect to WiFi. So the short is that I am lucky if the tv stays in for more than an hour. And very luck day if I am able to connect to WiFi

Excellent picture quality but doesn’t stay connect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought 2 weeks ago at Sam’s. Returned it a few days later. Would not stay connected to Wi-Fi. All other devices in the house had no trouble connecting and remaining connected to the house Wi-Fi. Did a reboot and refreshed the connection all to no avail. LG website wasn’t any help. A quick internet search yielded results of this being a common problem. But a smart TV is worthless without an Internet connection so back to the store it went. I do not recommend this item.
