[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After malling over which brand of Television I would buy, I finally settled on the 50UK6500AUA. Now that I've had it for about a month, I'm love'n it! The internet interface floored me with how intricate it is, and I do not have cable TV. LG put a lot of thought in their interface that provide multiple menu options, programable functions and of course bluetooth and wifi. The kit remote was more than enough for a remote hug like me, but my son gifted me with the Magic Remote, and WOW. I can't let go of it.

It is not overly hi def so it is more realistic and easy on the eyes. 55" is a good size as it fits well in the room, and does not dominate the room. Colors are bright. Sound is authentic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had this set for around a month now. Even after watching for a month, I'm still amazed by the crispness and sharpness of color. I was a bit disappointed at first when, even after customizing the picture features, the picture was still very dark. I stumbled upon the energy saving "feature" and disabled it - bam! Beautiful, bright, clear picture. Connecting to the internet, Amazon Prime, Netflix, etc. is very very simple - press one button! The only disappointment has been the viewing angle - that LG touted to be excellent. Mehh. When viewing from "my chair" at around 8 feet and 45 degrees +/-, it's "OK". Anything beyond 45 degrees and the picture disappears. But, when viewing straight-on from around 7 feet, the picture is excellent. It's so crisp, clear, and sharp that even old movies that were filmed appear to be video taped, there's so much fine detail, etc. It's almost distracting at first.

It’s very feature rich for a budget tv and I like the Netflix/amazon buttons to launch the apps right away. I use Comcast so I haven’t tried many of the other apps but the picture and settings are great after a few tweaks. Menus are easy to navigate

I setup the TV with ease. Light to carry. I don't use cable, but the features include a built in guide once the TV system scans for the available antenna channel for the area. The power button is under the bottom center which makes it easy to shut off when I'm rushing passed it to leave. Just push in power button and hold until it shuts off! Love this purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG 43" smart tv I purchased has been in use at my home for a few weeks now. Its smart features are very easy to use. There are multiple picture and sound options and menus are logical. The picture/sound qualities (I like the "vivid" and "cinema sound" settings) are good. The tipping point for me was the low price spent on this very well made LG product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv was impressive enough in the store that I purchased it to be delivered, since it wouldn’t fit in my sedan. Delivery took about a week, but arrived fine. Pros: good picture, adequate sound, good viewing angles, looks sleek and slim,. Cons: inadequate or missing set up instructions, confusing menu (have to guess how to get to some settings), inability to add some paid-for applications, such as MLB, paid streaming channels like FX, Discovery, Fox now, etc. cannot add Roku. The picture really improves if you turn off power saving mode. Wish it were easier to change display scheme (cinema, vivid, standard, etc) All in all, good device for the money. Would likely purchase again.
