Great TV, some slight adjusting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ive had this TV for a couple weeks and its been great! I love to play PS4 a bit so it is very efficient for competitive gaming as well as Netflix/Hulu watching. One issue that isnt really on the TV but is noticeable is the obvious slower frame rates of some movies/shows (looks choppy then smooth throughout) once you get a 4k compatible show it looks great. My favorite feature is the absolutely beautiful and vivid color! Planet Earth 2 is ridiculous!! Overall its a great TV and with 55 inches it feels like a huge upgrade to the home entertainment center.

WebOS 4.0 give you a break from the AppleTV flip

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got it for bedroom. Wow ! You will want to upgrade to Magic Remote with voice for Google assistant I still have not gone thru all the bells, whistles and settings After watching a HDR Movie off AppleTV there is no going back. All other TVs just don't compare and look fuzzy and old now.

Nice picture Awsome sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this tv last week. You need to turn off Power Saving mode to get a nice bright picture. The upscaling of HD content to close to 4k is great. 4k content looks awsome. The sound on the TV set are the best built in speakers I have ever herd on a tv. Only con you need to purchase a separate LG remote to make some of the features work.

Great picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this TV up and running for about 1 month. This is TV provides a wonderful clean, clear, crisp picture. It was pretty easy to get up and running and its features are pretty easy to work with and very logical.

Our first Smart TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this at Costco last week for under $500. Not disappointed. We put this TV in the family room and kept our old 32 inch non-smart Sony Bravia purchased years ago in the living room. This TV is pretty easy to use, got great audio(mom loves it) and picture. I was worried about all the stuff about smart platforms/features when doing online research too. It would be nice if the LG Magic Remote came with the TV(not necessary though), but having the LgTVPlus app on phone is cool too(just wish it I don’t have to reconnect it to TV every few minutes or so).

Amazing quality all around

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought mine about 5 months ago to replace an smaller Sharp model and the difference was amazing. I like watching TV and playing video games in my bedroom now! The image quality is crisp and perfectly clear no matter what I am watching. I have recommend this TV to my family because I like it a lot.

Nice mid-grade TV option

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this TV a few days, so this will only be my initial observations: - Overall, a very nice mid-range TV. This model (65UK6500AUA) has a subtle metal frame which in my opinion adds a touch of class and is more interesting than the plain black frames. - Good picture out of the box, although there doesn't seem to be much documentation for all of the smartTV and general settings or usage, so I'd imagine that I can get an even better picture by fine tuning my settings - but then again I may never know if it isn't obvious how to fine tune it.That being said, I plugged in my old blu-ray player and popped in the movie Coco for the kids and it looked beautiful without much messing around with the settings. - I agree with others that it is odd that LG dedicates a lot of marketing material around their "AI" features, but then those features can't really be used out-of-the-box unless you go buy a smart remote, which in a brief search for LG smart remotes there seems to be a lot of them so it's not really clear which one should be used with this TV. Anyway, it's just awkward marketing. Chances are that I'll get accustomed to the out-of-box standard interface and skip getting the smart remote, so LG would be much wiser if they just included the AI smart remote and it would probably be a much better product impression and much better user experience. - First impression of the LG webOS interface is that it is a decent smart platform, but comes up just short of Roku's user experience in intuitiveness and available apps, but it is still better than most other smart TV interfaces. I'll still use a separate Roku box in addition to the TV.

Lasted less than 3 years

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this TV two and a half years ago, and it has to be reaplced. The screen went out, and researching online, most people are saying it is done. Modern TV's have a ridiculously low life as it is, and this one crapped out way before the average. It's a lot of money for something that lasts such a short time.

Won’t stay connected to the internet.

I have tried everything to get this tv to stay connected to the internet. I have a strong signal and no obvious interference. It stays connected for awhile then disconnects and won’t reconnect without me resetting everything. Super disappointing since I’m using Netflix and amazon prime primarily.

I won't buy again

After owning the TV 16 months the warranty company had to put 3 wifi cards in it because it wouldn't sty connected to my wifi. They wasted a lot of my time. I will not buy another LG product again.
