Awesome TV for the money

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this TV to replace a ten year old LG 43" 1080 flat screen. The features and added in WiFi and the price point of this TV is why I bought this TV. So far I haven't been disappointed. Awesome picture, awesome features at a very affordable price.

Bad TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really enjoyed the TV in the beginning but as soon as the warranty was up started having problems with the TV. Now it would cost almost the price I paid for the TV to get it fixed. So now I have this big broken LG TV in my Living Room

Very nice TV for a reasonable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was in the market for a second TV for my bedroom, settle on LG following a visit to a local store where I had an opportunity to view various LG TVs. This particular 50UK6500 was on sale and a perfect fit for my bedroom. The design is very attractive and the ease of which one is able to set things up is a breeze.The picture is not as brilliant as others but for the price I paid for the TV, this is an excellent TV. The audio quality of this TV is superb in my opinion, contrary to most LCDs one can get by without a sound bar or surround speakers. Best I've seen so far when it comes to audio quality on an LCD.

Super Clear Picture

This tv was everything i ever wanted. Super bright colors and the 120 refreshing rate was juat perfect for gaming. Im a gamer and the refreshing rate make all my games look super smooth, Movies look even better and the pucture is super clear. After a couple of setting tweaks you will have a tv to enjoy to the fullest.

A Very Satisfied Customer

Terrible television

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Like numerous other reviewers my television (43uk6500aua) had a defective hdmi port. I spent more time ordering it, waiting for it to be delivered, and sending it back than I did actually using it. The poor build quality and slow user interface significantly overshadow this television's supposed value. A product's low price ($200ish + tax on sale) is easily negated if it does not work as advertised out of the box. If having 3 out of 4 HDMI ports functioning is on your must have list then by all means buy this television and experience how cool and awesome it is to have 3 out of 4 hdmi ports working at no additional cost to the consumer.

Excellent Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this product as a gift from our daughter. We are a senior couple not very "Tech Savoy" ,set-up was easy and working within 30 minutes. Outstanding picture and sound. Feel we will get lots of enjoyment watching this TV. Would recommend this product to friends and family.

Great picture and sound

I had a choice between LG and a competitive brand. I'm so glad I chose the LG. The pircure is flawless, and after some tweaking of the various settings, I've got it exactly the way I like it. The sound is also better than my previous 40" TV of a different brand. So far my new LG TV has proved to completely reliable, and because of a multitude of adjustable settings, I have it working exactly the way I want it.

Bad then broke

I bought this TV just over a year ago (just outside of warranty of course), and it was awful. I say "awful" because its app selection was terrible, its UI was confusing, and the way it displayed dark scenes was absolute garbage. I say "was" because the display stopped working basically right as it exited warranty. Not only that, I can't get a hold of anyone at support, and the self-help troubleshooting suggestions are patronizingly obvious. Will never be buying an LG TV again.

Terrible blacks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the picture is bright, I've been impressed. Colors pop and picture is sharp - Does great with sports and casual cable. However, when the scene is dark the clouding on the black areas of the screen is absolutely horrible to the point where guests have asked me if the TV is broken. It's so distracting that it makes whatever you're watching less enjoyable. The only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because of the metal bezel around the screen. It's very sleek and attractive and makes the TV look expensive. Unfortunately the horrible picture outweighs the appearance of the TV itself. Please save yourself the headache and stay away from this product.
