It expanded to its full size in less than an hour and did not have any odd chemical smell that seems to be common with packed memory foam. The quality is absolutely top notch - I have been using it as a topper in a fold out couch and you would never know that you’re not sleeping on a high quality mattress. The breathability is also a great feature absolutely no complaints of overheating. Overall would highly recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Sealy Dreamlife 3 inch gel memory foam mattress topper and the quilted cooling cover from Influenster and Sealy in exchange for my honest review. Unpackaging this product was a little bit scary because it was tightly packaged and there was not a pre-cut strip to unpack it so I had to use scissors which made me nervous because I didn’t want to accidentally damage the mattress topper. Luckily I was able to unpack it without damage. There were no instructions on how to set up the topper but I assume it takes a few hours for the foam to decompress and get to the standard thickness since it comes to tightly wrapped. One thing I noticed immediately was how much higher my mattress seems which resembles a hotel bed. This mattress topper claims to adapt and respond to every part of your body to provide pressure relief and a personalized sleep experience. So far I spent just one night on it and it feels like I got a whole new mattress! My bed feels cushy and it truly feels like the top adapts to my body shape. It feels like I am sleeping in a 5-star hotel bed. For the record I have a queen size sleep number mattress. At only $135 this is a great alternative to extend the life of your mattress if you are on a budget.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had slept on a tempur pedic mattress for about 10 years and have herniated discs in my neck thoracic and have a really bad bulging disc in my S1. I have to have something that sort of adapts to my body. Last year I felt bad and gave my (at the time) heavily pregnant daughter my tempur pedic bed. I went through 5 different mattresses before I finally realized I needed that ‘adaption’ from tempur pedic and bought a topper as I couldn’t afford another bed. I’m still suffering pain. Then I got the Sealy topper and cover. First m the foam is much thicker than the one I was using so it gives a bit more that I needed. These foam things (even TP) tend to make one hot so the addition of this cooling and a little extra cushioning has been amazing! This cover is silky soft and cooling to the touch! It also hugs my bed really well so I don’t worry about my topper (foam) shifting as I sleep and turn. I’m very impressed with both of this. Thank you.

I feel like it would be great for someone that has aches and pains. The quilted cover is great as well and will protect the memory foam from getting dirty and it also has a cooling feature! It's thick supports the body and doesn't make you over heat. We live in Arizona and cannot sleep when it's too hot this cooling cover is a dream. The quilted cover helps to keep the memory foam in place and I love how easy it was to set up the topper/quilted cover. Together both pieces provide added comfort and a cooling sensation while sleeping. It adds a few inches to the thickness of my bed but my sheets still fit without popping up on the corners throughout the night.

As for the queen cover omg..it actually keeps you cool! It was cool right out of the box! I was worried that it would have the awful smell of previous toppers I used thankfully it did not!
