We are both 72. We constructed all the parts and erected the 10 x 10 frame on a wood deck 21 inches above the ground with no assistance. We then waited 3 weeks until the Stay at home order was lifted and our Kids ( adults) came out and installed the roof panel . We found the instructions clear,easy to understand and along with the videos very helpful. I required the Adult kids to watch the roof install video . From start to finish under 2 hours. We laided out every item and counted every thing. Being organize ,having a place to lay down material so they can be counted . Very good and well made Gazebo

I would give this gazebo a perfect 10 except for one big issue I have: after getting it up, the next day my hands broke out in blisters and fingers swollen - seems that I am allergic to the plastic covering of the roofing metal pieces. There is lots of plastic to be removed by hand. If you are allergic to latex get someone else to remove the covering!!!!!!!!!!!! We were 4 seniors who put this up: one in his 60s, 2 in our 70s and on in his 80s. Took us 3 hot, sunny afternoons and lots of water breaks. I did some sub-assemblies in the garage out of the sun but the strong essence of the cedar started making me woozy. With garage door fully open letting in warm but fresh air all was soon fine. We had one issue with following the directions: We had the outside roof triangle assembly upside down. Realized this when we came to attach the metal roof pieces. Fortunately, taking the piece off and reattaching it was minor. Later on the third day of assembly we had a BBQ for the 4 assemblers and wives. Looks great in our backyard on a 10 x 10 wooden deck/platform about 7 feet from the house. Plan to purchase a few cedar planks and attach to one end to serve as a windbreak and privacy screen. It would be about shoulder height down to knee level. Maybe a metal decorative panel(s) on a second side. Maybe a lattice on the third side to have plants growing up. Fourth side open to enter and exit. A few minor aches and pains suffered by the senior 4; however, it didn't stop the others from playing golf the next day or two later.

We ordered and erected the 10x10 Meridian Gazebo over the last week and I would like to compliment Yardistry on the quality of the product. The engineered design was very thoughtful and thorough; I am impressed with how well everything fit together and how relatively easy it was to assemble. The materials were of apparently excellent quality; given that this is a natural wood product, some minor deficiencies are to be expected, but they were very few in number and essentially imperceptible. My only quibble would be to repeat what others have commented on regarding the plastic film applied to the roofing panels; very time-consuming and annoying to remove. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase; 5 stars.

Only four stars because I would think that pieces in a kit would be cut with more precision. You will need a sander to fix the poorly cut pieces. Other boards vary in width and there is no fixing those since the larger width is correct but the defects can be hidden in the final product by the choices you make when assembling it. The gazebo is sturdy and a welcome relief from the sun. It has not yet been through all 4 seasons so I will add to this when it does if there are any changes.

We had the manpower. Everyone watched the 'helpful hints' videos on line. We had all of the cedar components built in a couple of hours. No issues. Until we started to installing the aluminum roof panels. Dead stop. It took us 4 hours to peel the plastic film off. A ridiculous amount of time. Yardistry will respond that the plastic film is there to protect the panels. My response: Find a better way. The ridge caps, roof ridge track sections and roof trim sections all peeled easily. The panels, not so much. It was like a kind of torture! Lol. Also, look for parts inside the main posts, they're hollow and we had some inventory hidden in there. A solid product, well packaged, well designed. Could have done without the plastic film drama.

I highly recommend any of the Yardistry products ... I bought the 10 X12 meridian pergola a couple of years ago and installed fiberglass panelling over top to cover my hot tub to enjoy it during the rainy season and during the snow season .... never looked back... a breeze to put together and stands up to the extremes of weather we get here on the west coast .... since then I have also purchased the 6X8 green house ..... awesome . and the care and instructions that went into the design and manufacturing of it were beyond compare ... a bit of a jigsaw puzzle but easy if you follow the detailed instructions... all parts needed were included .... Just call me a happy satisfied customer and I know where I will go for any other structure that I require

We bought this a few weeks ago and are very happy with the outcome. It looks great in our backyard and we are looking forward to enjoy it in the weeks and years to come. Watching videos were key in the assembling process. Although there was a damaged part in one of the boxes, customer service was very helpful and quick in sending a replacement.

I bought two of these gazebos because I love the way they look. However, within the first 4 months parts started to crack and split and the issue was growing. I emailed Yardistry and they replaced several of the pieces under their warranty. They were a bit of a pain to replace but it worked out in the end, and Yardistry was pleasant to deal with. I live in Southern California which is typically hot and dry but that year was atypically very wet and we went through several cycles of wet and then hot. I'm sure this didn't help the product even though the parts were treated. In the end, I would buy them again. As a side note, several of the pieces came warped, don't tighten the bolts until you have a lot of the product already together or it can be difficult to assemble.

Easy to assemble after reading the instructions. The parts fit together perfectly. Was missing some pieces not because Yardistry but due to the retailer. Yardistry has stepped up and had my missing parts in a few days. The product is excellent the service is way over and above anything I experienced with any company in a long, long time. I would absolutely recommend anything they make based on my experience.

The directions for the most part are easy to read and the assembly is fairly easy to put together. Why I give this a 3 star is because the roofing panels, all the side strips, well anything that is aluminum has a sticky plastic film on them. The assembly took 2 people about 8 hours until we got to pulling the sticky film off. That so far has taken us 6 hours.. My fingers hurt, I am cut up, elbows are raw from leaning on this roofing panel all day and how bad is this for the environment. If I had known that this film was on the aluminum panels I may have gotten the client to go with another company.
