Both Cards declined

We purchased the gift cards at our local Sam's club and when we went to pay at Pei Wei they were both declined. Went to Pei Wei website to check the balance and they both said "Invalid account number or the account is closed". Took back to Sams club and they tried to call the customer service number on the back of the card and they could not get a hold of anyone. So they ultimately refunded my money and told me not to buy anymore Pei Wei gift cards in the meantime.
