Bought a new Honda 2800W - couldn't stand it. Hard to start, ran very rough after a year. No warranty satisfaction from the selling dealer. Sold it and bought this one. NOTHING BUT GOOD NEWS with the 4250W Champion!!! I was a bit hesitant not buying from a dealer, but I haven't had a single issue with it after 3 years. Runs like a top and starts EVERY TIME!!! Kept us with power over multiple outages. Has MUCH BETTER monitoring features than the Honda. Can't say enough about this product. I did buy the wheel kit and had to drill new holes for the handle bracket so it would be at the correct height/balance, but that was a snap to do. Five stars.

I've been shopping around for a year now and this is definitely the biggest bang for your buck. I removed the shipping spacers, put oil in it, filled the gas, and it started right up on the first pull. I'll be taking the RV out this weekend to test it out.

I purchased this product for my 30 foot 5th wheel camper. I only did the break in on this so far, but am very happy with the power and noise level. My camper has 3 slides and a 15,000 btu air conditioner. I ran the air conditioner for 4 hours without shutting it down. Very hot that day. Generator performed great. It was a little less than 50% load and used maybe two gallons. Only weighs 75 pounds so it is easy to move around. I look forward to camping with this.

The generator was packaged well and easy to set up. I also installed a wheel kit. The unit is not to loud and handles the needs of the AC unit on my camper. The wheel kit was not hard to install but is a little on the cheaply made side. It should be ok if not abused. I would buy this generator again.

Though I am still in break-in, this inverter generator is stout. There is nothing chintzy about it. I bought the wheel kit and cover as it is heavy. With the kit, it wheels right around. The controls are simple, the manual concise. I was surprised at how quiet it is. Guess I just heard too many generators run. Do yourself a favor and avoid the cheap chinese brands and get a good one.

Could not be happier with the 200954 4250W Open Frame Inverter! I was really needing a simple safe and effective solution for the next winter storm possible this year, it didn't come however, I couldn't have felt more peace of mind and reassurance when kickstarting this model and it has been very easy to stow and to move!

The Champion 200954 so far seems to be a nice quality and pretty quiet inverter generator. Easy to move around with the wheel kit and not that heavy to begin with. It's easy to set up, add/change oil and starts easy as well. Seems to do pretty good fuel wise also. Overall a good thing to have especially during a power outage.

I've owned Champion equipment for years. Last October we had an ice storm, we were without power for 6 days. We had at that time a smaller Champion generator I hadn't started as often as I should. I got it out of the garage moved it outside and it started right up! We were able to power lights and alternately the fridge, deep freeze, and gas furnace. We also ran our phone chargers and laptop and lights at night. It was amazing we stopped during that time and changed the oil as recommended after 50 hours of use. It saved us. Well, we have more and more outages it seems and so we purchased this generator. Once I get it moved outside and hooked up during a power outage I can remotely start it and not have to go outside. We usually only run our generator while we are awake just for safety's sake. Now I can run all of our computers and such since this one is an inverter generator it works well with electronics. I'm not looking forward to another ice storm but I know now that I'm protected, and that is a great feeling.

I purchased this generator as a backup to my Honda when I had our electrical panel replaced. I needed something small but strong enough to run out Fridge and Freezer off it and it sure did. I have 2 fridges and 2 freezers. Had one of each on each generator and the Honda 3000 ran out of gas within 5 hours, the champain STILL has a half tank of fuel in it after running for 10 hours! Sure it's louder, but we buy these for the power dont we?

We picked this up for are rv to use while on the beach or when the power is out. It was very easy to set up and starts on the first pull every time. My favorite part about it is it very compact and easy to move and the sound is not very load even when running my ac and everything.
