The shrimp had a good taste. A bit heavy on the breading. The shrimp were a nice size and not mushy. I still prefer Members Mark shrimp over this brand.

This shrimp is just ok. They are not plump and flavorful like other brands. If you are in a pinch these are ok but don’t rush out to buy these. I doubt I will buy these again.

1st time purchasing the Aqua Star frozen butterfly shrimp, but will definitely not be the last! These are not tiny shrimps, small amount of breading, can actually see/taste the shrimps. Great deal!

Good quality

This shrimp was a big disappointment based on all the glowing reviews which prompted me to buy it. The frozen shrimp themselves at a fishy smell, yet when cooked they hardly had any taste whatsoever and no matter how crispy the outside was the inside felt soggy. Very disappointing, would not buy again.

This shrimp is disgusting! I have always bought shrimp from Sam’s. Then they changed the brand. The shrimp they have now taste so bad that I returned it back to the store. I will never buy it again. The brand of shrimp they had prior to the current brand was delicious. Sams made a big mistake by changing the brand. It’s hard to believe that Kroger brand jumbo shrimp is so must better than Sams current shrimp.

We have bought this several times and has always been very good but the last time we purchased 2/11/26 it has changed significantly, it’s not even close now, the batter has changed and the shrimp if that’s what it is is very small and the taste is fishy, returning to Sam’s and will not buy this crap ever again

These USED to be so good! I purchased them all the time. Not anymore! They changed the breading on them and now they are terrible! Not panko like it states on the box. More like cornmeal. Will not be purchasing again!

My sister lives in Florida and her husband visits Restaurants selling equipment. He saw empty boxes of Aqua Star Butterfly Shrimp in the back garbage can of a well known fresh seafood restaurant. These taste like fresh shrimp. I like to bake mine a little longer to make them more crispy.

This shrimp is delicious and easy to prepare in the oven. But this is from China, so we will probably not buy it again, even though the box says something about careful aquaculture. Who knows what that means? It’s too bad - if the shrimp came from the U.S. I would buy this again for sure, even if was a little bit more expensive.
