I don’t know if I just got a bad box or what, but they were ALL breading! I pulled the breading off of a couple and the shrimp were literally the smallest shrimp I’ve ever seen. Won’t be buying again. We loved the Members Mark brand and bought them all the time

This shrimp is disgusting! I have always bought shrimp from Sam's. Then they changed the brand. The shrimp they have now taste so bad that I returned it back to the store. I will never buy it again. The brand of shrimp they had prior to the current brand was delicious. Sams made a big mistake by changing the brand. It's hard to believe that Kroger brand jumbo shrimp is so must better than Sams current shrimp.

I have been buying these for years. They were the best around. Recently I noticed they are about half the size and the new breading is horrible. It tastes like i would imagine dog food tastes like. I cant even make it taste good in a whole bottle of cocktail sauce.

First let me say that I am not a picky eater, nor a negative person. I almost never give products a bad review, but these 'Shrimp' deserve an exception. I am astounded that so many here have given these a positive rating. I love shrimp -- fried, broiled, boiled -- you name it. This product is roughly 1/3 shrimp (very small with little flavor), and 2/3 batter (pretty tasteless batter). I am surprised that Sam's sells this product, but obviously many people think it is good. I can only assume that the four and five star ratings come from people who consider Long John Silvers a gourmet seafood restaurant. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. I won't make this mistake again.

This shrimp is terrible please go back to SeaPak. After you stopped SeaPak I tried the Member's Mark, terrible. Just re-joined after the mask mandate was lifted, still no SeaPak, I thought I would give this a try, I might be sick in a little while, it's horrible.

We use to purchase the Sea Pak Brand of Butterfly Shrimp at Sams Club. We hadn't purchased any shrimp lately and decided to again get a box. Sams has a new brand, Aqua Star and it is not very good! Very small shrimp wrapped in extensive breading. Bring back the Sea Pak!

My sister lives in Florida and her husband visits Restaurants selling equipment. He saw empty boxes of Aqua Star Butterfly Shrimp in the back garbage can of a well known fresh seafood restaurant. These taste like fresh shrimp. I like to bake mine a little longer to make them more crispy.

Started buying this after they stopped caring the seapack brand and it was a disappointment. I’ve found more shrimp in a shrimp roll than hiding under the bread coating of this product. For a 3lb box of shrimp you are probably getting 1/4 lb or less of shrimp and the rest is breaded coating.

I have been buying boxed butterfly shrimp from Sams for 30 years and have really enjoyed it but this last time was awful and uneatable. My daughter and I could barely choke a serving down. I hope my local Sams can find a different company to purchase from in the future or Aqua Star can change their breading to something eatable.

Usually keep a box of these in the freezer but it seems they have changed the recipe for the breading. I'm hoping I just got a bad batch, so I will try to buy one more time. If this new box still has that thick, tasteless breading I will no longer buy these. Maybe if enough people complain , they will go back to the original recipe.
