Solid value - would recommend

Pros: - fairly short throw - ~7’ for 100ish diagonal inches - low power - 65 watt USB battery bank can power for an outdoor movie night - threaded base - lots of compatible camera/microphone stands - USB-C power input with USB-A data/power port - HDMI input (plug in a Roku or Apple TV?) - solid brightness (400ish lumens seems about right) - automatic keystone - not perfect, but good enough - solid audio (no bass but as good or better than most TV speakers I’ve heard) - very compact - you could easily pack in carry-on luggage - WiFi & Bluetooth - I use with a HDHomeRun networked TV tuner Cons: - Processing or WiFi throughput issues - I have some stuttering of OTA TV from HDHomeRun. It’s definitely watchable, but it isn’t flatscreen TV smooth - Generic projector things - brightness against competing lighting (and/or a dark space to use); having a quality screen or projection surface (it matters); space to use it (a projector has to be set back from the screen/projection surface some distance), etc. - DLP - I can see the RGB. Overall, I REALLY like this projector. The form factor is great. The video and audio quality are great for the price. I like that I can power it with a USB battery bank. The A/V inputs meet my needs. It isn’t a $3k high end home theater projector, but I don’t expect it to be. It is great for a home movie night or a Super Bowl watch party. Could be taken camping to throw a movie up on the side of your RV or van (bring a portable screen or a white sheet with magnets). I personally have contemplated buying a spare just to have for travel or to give as a present to a family member. It’s a great little device! Would recommend.

Love this projector

I absolutely love this Xgimi Mogo 2 projector. I had previously ordered one of those $150 generic projectors online, and this Xgimi is so much better there's no comparison. The picture quality is excellent and very detailed. And the speakers are actually quite amazing! I do use my bluetooth boom box for action movies, but for sports and TV, I actually prefer the Mogo speakers because they have a really good stereo separation and clear sound. I didn't know if the 400 lumens would be enough, but it's surprisingly bright! During the day, in my extremely bright living room, it's not the greatest. BUT, when it's cloudy or late afternoon it is plenty bright. At night, the brightness is absolutely fine. I generally watch movies in the evening so it works out perfectly. The brightness is exactly like being in a movie theater, if I had to give a comparison. My advice would not be to get hung up on the lumens only and consider the quality of the image, the build quality of the unit, the great speakers. I love this for sports because I put the primary game on my QLED TV, and have the secondary game on the projector. Also, the interface is Google TV which is great, so all the streaming services are built-in. And there's a HDMI where I connect my Blu-Ray player. The projector has auto-focus and auto 2D keystone correction which is fantastic. The cheap projector I had did not do this and I could never get it adjusted just right. Lastly, it is so incredibly portable. It can go inside, outside, to someone else's house. I attached photos in several lighting conditions to try to share how great the picture is. I hope this helps and i really recommend this projector!

A Powerful, User-Friendly Projector in a Compact P

The XGIMI Mogo 2 Pro is a standout in the portable projector market, managing to pack high-definition performance into a remarkably compact frame. It is an ideal solution for those who want a cinematic experience that can easily move from room to room or be taken on the go. Performance: Small but Powerful Don't let the size fool you; this projector is small but powerful. Despite its portability, it delivers a punchy performance that rivals much larger units. The 1080p Full HD resolution ensures that images are crisp and clear, providing good pic quality with vibrant colors and sharp details, even when projected onto larger surfaces. User Interface and Ease of Use One of the most impressive aspects of the Mogo 2 Pro is how easy it is to use. The GUI (Graphic User Interface) is good and user-friendly, making navigation through apps and settings a seamless experience. It works well right out of the box, with smart features like auto-focus and auto-keystone correction that take the frustration out of setup. Audio Quality For a portable unit, the volume is good and the sound quality is surprisingly robust. It provides a clear and immersive audio experience that complements the high-quality visuals, often eliminating the need for external speakers in smaller to medium-sized rooms. Final Verdict The XGIMI Mogo 2 Pro is a highly capable and versatile device. It combines portability with high-end features, making it worth the money for anyone looking for a reliable, "plug-and-play" projection solution.

Keep you 85" TV, I now have a 150" TV

Love everything about it. Clear picture with auto focus and auto keystone. Speakers are decent and smart features via wifi are an added bonus. Well worth the money. I"ll take a 150" TV screen over a 85" TV for a fraction of the price.

Good with certain expectations

Excellent auto keystoning, convenient with built-in apps and decent speakers, but portability means a trade off in brightness. Also ... it does 3D! No internal battery but it does run off a PD power bank if needed. For $300, it's great for a light controlled room or outdoor movie night, but its brightness is no match for a "real" projector.

Not Bad

Not too bad for a budget projector. It works well when the overall is completely dark (at night). If there's any light the image quality drops sharply.

Great Picture, Bad Software, doesnt work with IOS

Out of the box, if you connect bluetooth headphones the video playback slows to a crawl after about 15 seconds. This is a known issue with this unit and you have to disable automatic keystone to stop it from happening. Unfortunately, automatic keystone is one of the best features of this product because you can just pick it up and point it at a new wall and it corrects the screen. If you connect more than 1 bluetooth device, you'll be lucky if anything more than 1 works. This runs Google TV so its optimized to work with Android phones. You have to install this half-baked "MagiCast" sofware to cast from an Iphone from apps that were not made by Google. This works for some apps but not on others. You'll also have to update the firmware to resolve a bunch of slow performance issues. Overall, the Google TV software is very buggy. Most apps don't work well. GeForce Now app freezes the screen after ~10 seconds. There is no Netflix without this strange workaround that installs a much older version of the app. The UI is pretty clunky requiring a lot of button pressing to get where you want. Customer support is awful. Not sure if its a real person or AI but emails are only canned responses and its like they dont even read what you asked them. The picture quality is stellar but it has to be a dark'ish room. If you just want to watch YouTube videos, in a dark room, with no bluetooth involved it's a 4-5 star product. If any type of bluetooth accessory is involved or you want to install apps beyond the pre-installed ones, this gets pretty bad pretty fast.
