Hands down the best tv we ever bought! We have it in a south/west facing room with a ton of light and we get a perfect picture daylight and nighttime! I wouldn’t have believed it if I hadn’t switched from the LG OLED to the Samsung QD-OLED - what a difference! Much simpler to operate and the Samsung apps are crazy cool! I’ve set it to play calm music and a video when it hears my dog bark. It was nerve wracking to pick a tv and I wanted it to be worth the investment - couldn’t be happier with our choice’

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is actually very poor timing on Samsung’s part. I’ve had the tv for less than 4 months and it decided to take a dump last night. No power up or any sign of power from the set. Tried all of my troubleshooting ideas before trying to get service. Finally got to Samsung service line but the service company is not Samsung and when searching for Samsung service facilities there aren’t any on the map. I spoke with a service company Samsung connected me to but they could give no clear answers regarding service, time frame and I have to unmount the unit from its wall mounting before their tech will come out to look at the unit. Very inconvenient considering the unit has not been in service for 4 months. This is my 4th Samsung unit personally owned and the 1st real problem in well over 20 years but most expensive. So sad quality has fallen on this manufacturer. Hope it can get resolved quickly but in my experience with second tier repairs speed nor convince are top priorities. In my previous profession I facilitated the specification, purchasing, installation and maintenance of over 1000 Samsung lcd projectors in a major school system. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the new Samsung OLED TV after my previous Samsung finally gave out after 16 years. I did a lot of research, and also based on my previous experience, I decided I wanted another Samsung television. When the set arrived, I was very surprised with the difference in weight between my old TV and the new one. I was able to carry the new set by myself. The old set was a two-person job. Upon plugging it in, it immediately recognized my peripherals. Unfortunately, my old surround sound system was not compatible with 4k, however, while I waited to upgrade that, the built-in speakers on the TV worked very well. First off, although my previous Samsung also had a good picture at 1080P, the new set with OLED at 4k is a huge difference. The black levels make the colors jump, and of course, the resolution is outstanding. I have experienced no motion blur when playing video games, or watching sports. I also like that some of the most common streaming service apps come pre-installed. Now that I have upgraded my home theatre receiver, I am enjoying surround sound again! the on-screen menu is fairly intuitive, however, I was unaware that Samsung included local channels with their service. I did not know that, and had bought an external antenna, which I didn't end up needing. As far as the remote, I do wish it had back-lighting, and although it says it recharges with the solar cells on the back, I have found that they are not enough to keep it charged. The remote can charge via USB-C.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung TV is attached to cable system and Onkyo stereo thru HDMI-ARC cabling. Both picture and sound are excellent. Sports motion well rendered. About half the time tv fails to see cable signal thru ARC and I have to restart tv or do other tricks.

Beautiful picture with vivid detail. Speech recognition is very good.

Got this tv about a year ago and still loving it. Beautiful display!!!
