Great Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Used mostly for watching TV and simulcasting concerts. Sound quality is much better than expected, although for movies and simulcasting it is hooked up through digital port to stereo system. HDMI to computer for simulcasting works perfectly as does the DVD HDMI. Recently cut the cord and easily accessed the fiber network.

Glad l stepped up!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Held off on this purchase because the set was 1/8 inch too wide to fit my existing tv cabinet but finally gave in. My set sits a little off in the cabinet but you can't tell because the picture is beautiful and makes watching a pleasure. I have always bought Samsung TV because of their quality and this set doesn't disappoint!

Good but no cigar!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use our tv mostly for streaming apps. Sometimes it's the apps' fault sometimes the TV's fault. We have had to unplug the TV quite a bit to reset the parameters for TV use because it was not responding.

Smart BUT NOT EASY

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the Samsung Smart TV in December 2024. As a couple of 80 year olds we were surprised and pleased how easy the initial setup was, that is the turn on and navigation with the remote. However, the massive manual was confusing and not always helpful. We don't want the games, the fancy things....all we want is to set up streaming and watch certain TV channels that we get via an indoor antenna. However, trying to set up the TV channels wherein the channels are present on the screen doesn't seem like an option. Yes, we can talk to the TV, but 50% of the time we are notified that the channel doesn't exist or is too busy to come in. What? Why can't we just display the channels on the screen like all the other things are displayed that we have no interest in watching. While we have learned round about ways of getting the channels to appear, it would be much easier if they were readily displayed on the screen like Netflex, Hulu, Prime, etc. If it is possible to do this, PLEASE ADVISE. Oh yes, the color and clarity is great, but the navigation leaves something to be desired.

Great colors and response rate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the S95D is a technically impressive display that pushes the boundaries of OLED brightness and daytime usability. Its QD-OLED panel is superb, and its gaming features are class-leading. The decision to embrace its matte screen will depend entirely on the user's viewing environment, weighing the benefit of near-eliminated glare against a potential minor compromise in perceived contrast in bright rooms

Streaming Big

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased a 77 inch 4K Samsung OLED TV and loving every minute. The picture is amazing, fairly easy to set up and operate. I hung it on wall and is very thin. Streaming is great for TV viewing ,sports and movies. The colors really pop... especially the reds. Love the hands free operations and voice commands.

Oled is amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took a while to find settings to eliminate judder but now its the most amazing picture. Makes you want to watch programs that test the limits with their opening graphics. Brother has lg c3 and I think both are incredible. Can't tell the difference so whichever you can get best price on.

Mostly great tv

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had the tv for about 4 months now and it’s mostly a great tv. But every now and then a dark, transparent bar appears at the bottom of the screen. It’s about 3 inches wide and goes across the entire screen. It goes away on its own after a while. Also, while watching fast paced sports like hockey, the picture sometimes gets a bit “jittery”. Like the digital can’t keep up with the action on screen.

Samsung Sets the Standard for OLED!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Samsung OLED has been the tall of my household for the last 2 years now. From friends, to family and even my neighbors. You truly don't understand what you are missing with an OLED display. The biggest factor; your blacks are ACTUALLY black! Do you ever watch TV and have the black parts actually be lit up or "gray" and not TRUE black? Yea. An OLED completely changed that feeling. All the colors are astounding and the deep richness of dark screens and dark nights (im talking to you, Game of Thrones fans!) is breathtakingly beautiful. My father came over one day and I turned the TV on for him. He said "does it take long to boot up?" I said no dad, the screen is on. You just don't realize it because the OLED display with a black image seems like it's OFF but in actuality it's on and running. Then the colors hit and he was blown away. You're truly missing out not having an OLED. If you're a fan of watching shows, movies or even gaming on your TV, then a Samsung OLED is a MUST HAVE in your home! You will not regret it!

Great picture- buggy interface

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the OLED display but the Samsung interface often hangs when starting Paramount+, Peacock, and some other apps. Restarting the app doesn't fix the issue and I finally found that unplugging/re-plugging the only way to get the interface to work correctly again. I've never have this problem with any of my other smart TV's (mostly Roku interface).
