Love the visibility of the screen in all light conditions. The touch screen is great too. Also tracks Pulse Ox. Tracks Mtb and hiking tracks accurately and great for monitoring workouts. Also has a sweet flashlight mode for when you forget your headlamp. Good for beginners or experts. Only thing I don't really like is the charging cable, but on energy save mode it lasts up to 14 days as a watch (less if tracking) Oh and the map is good too. Has a lot of trail on it already to follow at a glance.

I've had my Epix 2 sapphire for about a year now and have to say it has held up very very well. Still loving the build quality, screen, looks, and the updates. The watch is performing perfectly for all of my activities - hikes, walks, rowing, spin classes, and treadmill. And because it's built like a tank, it's still looks like new. Only minor scratch and a ding. Will definitely recommend.

The display is what really sets this watch apart. It's bright, high resolution and rich with color. The watch is feature packed as you'd expect. The companion apps (Garmin ConnectIQ for example) need some UI and UX love however. The battery like takes a big hit due to the AMOLED screen, but it's a worthwhile trade off. That being said though is where the key feature is missing - a solar option like the Fenix 6 and 7.

Bought this watch the day it came out and it has not disappointed. Absolutely love the display and feel like the Bluetooth connection is better than my 6s and am just SO happy I jumped on it. The watch has amazing display and looks great and love the red bezzle as well. Would always recommend.

I use this watch every day. I have used it hiking, running, snowboarding, biking, and everything in between and the watch has never left my side. I came from a 5th gen Fenix and the screen on this new Epix watch BLOWs the pants off the Fenix display. Sure it doesn't get the crazy battery life of the Fenix but I can still manage close to a week without having to charge it and to me, that is a good enough trade-off for the display.

Watch is great, picked over the fenix7 for the amoled screen, completely worth it, more features then I'll ever use but everything I needed, a little over priced for what I'll use it for but happy I got it, got to try it hiking and mountain biking, did great tracking and was so easy to read even in full sunlight, very impressed, anyone looking for a full tracking watch will be more then happy.

Super recommended watch if you are an athlete or simply want to have the best smartwatch on the market. The battery life is very good compared to an Apple Watch or a Samsung Watch (6 days using all functions) The interface of the watch is very complete. At first you'll have a hard time learning where all the menus and functions are, but then you'll enjoy the whole interface. The 5 buttons are super useful and work great. You get used to just using the buttons, you won't end up using the touch screen. It's worth what it costs. Highly recommended.

I bought the Epix for international travel and walking around. Yes its a fitness watch...but along side that ...it changes time zones anutomatically, has a beautiful clear display , I walk a lot around european cities...more like hiking around. It keeps measure of that. and when I do go out for a hike - its geared for that

I love my Garmin products but sadly I have had 2 Epix devices and both continue to have random device rebooting issues and/or workouts stop recording mid ride and run. It seems to be a software issue since it's come about since the update with the running power feature addition. If It was my only device recording, it would be extremely frustrating. I have started using my iPhone and Hammerhead as backup as this error comes about intermittently.

I bought this watch coming from the fenix 6. The amoled screen is what won me over vs the fenix 7 line. The screen is so bright and easy to read. I've had it on gesture mode and by turning off a few features I can get over 16 days on a charge. Im a huge garmin fan so you can't go wrong by getting the epix!
