I've had this new Epix (2) for around a month now, and overall I'm very, very happy with it. I upgraded from a Fenix 5, so the newer features and upgraded GPS alone was a huge jump. However the jewel in the crown is the screen, of course. Can't say enough about how much it changes the everyday use of it and how much it improves the experience, especially with the touch screen along with the buttons. The only drawback is the battery life (which is still pretty good). I have been consistent at 6 days between charges with regular 1 hour daily workouts plus at least 1 GPS run and ride each weekend. I used to get 10-12 days with the Fenix 5.

I debated whether the new features were worth the upgrade from what I thought as a perfectly fine Fenix 5X. After 2 weeks of use I'm happy I made the purchase. The display is much more clear and bright, yet the battery still lasts almost a week (Always on display except during sleep). Changing the display settings to only come on when I look at my wrist would make it last even longer. Also, the ability to turn only turn the touchscreen on when using specific activities (times I want to use the map) is a god send. The map is much more usable with a touchscreen, but I don't have to use it any other time and risk inadvertent touches. Highly recommend

I'm really happy with my Epix 2. The screen is beautiful and I love the integration with Trainging Peaks so all my structured workouts are on here. Had an issue with my first one after a few months but garmin promptly sent a brand new one which was awesome.

this is a great buy! I replaced my Fenix3 with the Epix. Still getting used to the touchscreen but that feature is disabled during workouts therefore there is no issue during GPS use. Easy to scroll and navigate and quickly add features or widgets. Super fast connection to satellites! it's all about the screen with this watch! (I don't need readers!)

I have had my Epix for about a month. This watch is impressive and does everything well. The build quality is exceptional and it is perfect for the gym or a boardroom. The display is sharp, it has extensive features to track health, and the battery life is next level. Can't go wrong here.

I have had this watch for a month or so now and love it. Switched from apple watch to this. I would barely get 1 day of battery out of my apple watch compared to 14days with this while using more features. The only feature I wish I could do is run a stopwatch while doing an activity. I referee rugby matches so I would like to track distances and such but I have to run so stopwatch to keep time.

I chose this over the Apple Watch Ultra because I needed a device that can talk to all my other devices. This does so seamlessly, and every day I am discovering cool features. The display is amazing and the battery is incredible. I've worn it 24h/day for two weeks and it still has a day or so of charge. 5 stars, worth every penny.

Great fitness and sport oriented features with the watch and Garmin Connect app. Amazing battery life, especially compared to Apple Watch and I don't miss any of the "smart" features. Only criticism is that the watch band has to be uncomfortably right for an accurate HR measurement. This is especially noticeable during MTB rides, where there's lots of shaking on my hands and wrists. Might try some other bands to see if it would help.

I had looked at the Epix and read / watched reviews for 7 months before I pulled the trigger and I must say it is mostly a great watch with great features. The biggest feature that drew me to the Epix was the advertised battery life combined with the Amoled display of 6 days in always on mode. But having had the watch for over 2 months now the only time I ever got to 6 days was with the display off where it should get to 13 days. Settings are pretty much factory and my workouts barely ever get to 1 hour per day. I have been trying different settings for several weeks now to no avail.

Super recommended watch if you are an athlete or simply want to have the best smartwatch on the market. The battery life is very good compared to an Apple Watch or a Samsung Watch (6 days using all functions) The interface of the watch is very complete. At first you'll have a hard time learning where all the menus and functions are, but then you'll enjoy the whole interface. The 5 buttons are super useful and work great. You get used to just using the buttons, you won't end up using the touch screen. It's worth what it costs. Highly recommended.
