It has the right temperature to not burn hair. It is super easy to use and it heats up in less than a minute. I have wavy/curly hair and this brush transforms it into a blowout hair style with less frizz.

Let me just say this is one awesome hair tool from Conair ! It heats up hot and fast and has a nice long cord that doesn't get all bound up . It's got bristles that keep the hot plates from burning your hands but still be able to brush through and straighten you hair , this tool is great for long hair or thick hair or thin hair all hair types really . The heat part has a case to cover it when not in use and let me just say the packaging was so good to ! I'm loving using this it's fast and easy and cuts straightening time in half !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Dafni x Conair Muse Styling and Straightening Brush through Bzzagent and I'm sadly not impressed with this. I have 2b frizzy and coarse hair that is slightly longer then my chin and this was not effective at straightening my hair. It took several passes and needed my other hand to put significant tension since the bristles did not grip my hair. This styler would take three times as long to use as my other straightener and to wave with it would require straightening my hair out first. Thinking it was designed for a different hair type, I used this on my mother who has fine hair and for me I styled her very easily. However, she found it difficult to use on herself because again the bristles did not grasp the hair. Also, my hair got stuck in between where the plate of the brush was attached. I would only recommend trying this out if you have fine to medium hair because it might work if you put tension on it right.

While the tutorial video was short and seemed simple, I struggled to get my hair to do the curling blow out method or even the light blow out method without some issue. I'm sure this is great for a salon hairstylist which might cut back on their time, but I kept getting impatient with wanting the results instantly. The instructions say make sure your hair is tangle free and brushed to not have issues, however my hair no matter how much small sections or large even after brushing before each section would get caught. I found the bristles tended to rip out a lot of my hair even if it went smoothly through. I use many different hair styling tools and this was by far the one I would recommend last over even my my difficulty to use curling iron, krimper, styling hair brush, and straightener. I style my hair 5 days of the week, so if you are in a rush I would not use this. It did look great when I took the time to style it after about 45 minutes.

This brush is small enough to be portable but big enough to get my long hair done in very little time. The best way to use the straightening brush is to allow it to fully heat up, Have slightly damp hair, and brush in smooth slow motions. We used this on my hair which is very currly and also on my husbands prized beard. The brush does get hot but not as hot as a flat iron. The bristles are coarse and have very little give to them so make sure that your hair is brushed out before using it. The motions of brushing with heat helps keep dead ends down and adds to the sleek appearance of the hair when it is dry. This will help the hair look healthier and smoother.

SO much easier than a curling iron! I've also been using it on my daughter's super unruly hair. She has straight on the top and curly on the bottom which creates a constant "just rolled out of bed" look regardless of what we do. Now, I can let her hair airdry and fix the mess in the morning. After use, the frizz is gone! It's also really slim/sleek and has been great for travel. I have one tool, rather than 3. Worth every penny!
