Way too much buttercream that we couldn’t eat the cake and threw away & this was my daughter’s 20th bday cake she wanted. I’ve been buying Sam’s club cakes for 20 years & this was the worst one by far!

Sam's did a horrible job on my daughter's cake. You can't see her name because they covered it with icing & wrote it extremely small & didn't even lay the fondant water image flat. I'm very disappointed because the cake is the highlight of her birthday!! Definately not purchasing again!!

I bought this for a recent birthday and it looked great! The written part of the cake was printed, not iced on, but that was not a problem - it looked clean, but wasn't what I was expecting. The reason for my rating is the taste/not the look of the cake. It was wayyy too sweet. Particularly the frosting. Even my kids who love sugar took a bite and stopped eating it. Most guests moved the cake around on their plate and tossed it. To be fair, I ordered this cake because it matched my theme so I need to give credit where it's due - it looked great!
