[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really happy with this purchase. Install was easy and gave more space with the exhaust hose. Added height is great for getting items and out of the dryer and the pull out shelf is great for storage.

we replaced a kenmore washer and pedestal combination with samsung products. the volume of the samsung pedestal seems smaller and the overall height with the washer is taller than the old unit. cosmetically, i do not think the design is very good when stacking a unit. there is about an one inch gap between the washer and the pedestal. the covers to hide the washer's feet only do a minimal job. i would rather see one piece of plastic hiding the feet and the gap between the two units. with the high quality samsung is portraying, i guess i expected the overall appearance of the pedestal with a washer to be more refined and upscale. i had the installer come back and look at the unit. they say the installation is correct and there is nothing that can be done with the gap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the two I purchased hold the washer and dryer. They seem well constructed, but time will tell. The drawer built into each one is really convenient and the height they bring the fron loading machines to is perfect. They do, however, seem to amplify some of the vibration transmitted by the machines. It would be good for Samsung to add some noise/vibration absorbent material to the interior walls of the pedestals.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want to level your washer and dryer to your countertops or sink this is the way to go. Prevents having to hurt your back loading and unloading clothes. Looks good too and can be used for storage.

The pedestal is great in the sense that it raises the dryer up to a height that allows us to reach into our dryer and no need to bend over to get the clothes out. It also has great storage space for detergents etc....
