After an extensive review of swing sets the backyard sky fort 2 seemed to have the best reviews and best fit for our daughter and also reasonably priced. We are very pleased with it and our 2 1/2 yo daughter loves her new swingset. We had a company put it together for us and they had it done in 1 day. Everything seems solid enough... after a couple of weeks we’ve noticed a few of the boards warping, some cracked or starting “peeling". We were never made aware that you have to apply a sealant on it. Had we known this it could’ve been avoided. We did contact backyard and they shipped out replacements boards. Other than this, we would recommend this swingset. It has a great variety of stuff to play on!

The best advice I found and would pass on to anyone building this playset would be to open each box, inventory the pieces using the step by step assembly instructions and placing the items for each step into seperate piles as you go. This last part will save you an unbelievable amount of time. We assembled the set in approx. 17 hours with 2 people one day and 3 the next. There will be boards missing but as others have mentioned the Customer Service is the best I've ever contacted and the ones I spoke with had assembled these sets and knew exactly what I needed, no questions asked.

We love the Skyfort II. We hired assembly and so happy that we decided to do that. It is a wonderful playset. We bought it for our grandchildren. They are ages newborn to 2 1/2 years. We also purchased two toddler swings to use until the grandchildren get older. This playset is something that they will grow into for many years.

Purchased for my 10 and 4 year old and both love it! The lookout up top is their favorite feature. You can easily change out the swings for something else like a saucer swing. Wish we had taken the time to stain the wood before assembly as it is already starting to show wear and peeling.

I have to tell you that this took awhile to put together by myself, but when it was finished it was well worth it. The directions were very simple to understand and it helped having the boards and bags properly labeled. The quality is good and it looks professional. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a playset.

It was a bit difficult to follow the instructions and sort through all the lumber and hardware when building yourself and some of the pre drilled pieces were drilled a bit off but overall with many hands and a good chunk of time we were able to get the job done and now enjoy this awesome play set!

We researched many playsets and this one came up as the most afforable and kid friendly. The wood looks sharp abd the play area is big. We thought the online pictures were photo cropped to make it look bigger, but after installed it was large. We hired some guys to come put it together and they did it in about 10 hours. Our kids like it a lot and we would buy again.

I purchased the skyfort 2 a month ago and had to hire someone to put it together which took a day, had I done it with someone it would have taken an easy 2 days. My daughter loves it! Back and forth on the monkey bars and loves to hang out with her iPad in the covered area. Way bigger than I thought it would be. However the slide is cheaply made. My daughter was playing on it with her cousins, no one more than 70lbs, and it kept buckling on the bottom end. This morning when I was cleaning up I noticed the bottom bar that runs under the slide had broke already. Cheap plastic! Trying to find a more stable slide too substitute.

Just purchased set up this month. Impressed with the precision in manufacturing and the clear instructions for assembly. Every piece went together with ease. It feels really solid and durable. Bought this for my when my grand son is here, he is completely thrilled with all of the features. Looking forward to watching him grow as he masters all the challenges provided. Would highly recommend as a first choice in playsets!!

Awesome set! Highly recommend to anyone searching for a great swing set for a cheap price. Our set has great cedar pieces, no cracks or warped boards. I saw that there were a few reviews complaining about the instructions but never experienced any issues. Never had to reassemble. There are a lot pieces so it does take some time, we had two guys working on the clubhouse and a third guy putting together the other, monkey bars, swings, ladder ect. It took Saturday and Sunday, about 16-18 hours total to finish set. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and now that it's all done and put together my husband feels the same way. The kids (and neighborhood kids) absolutely love it!!
