The swing set has an excellent design and that's about it. The wood used in the construction is very soft and it starts shaking the first day of use when all of the swings are in use by kids. My 4 year old tried to play with the telescope and it came out. I have professionally installed to ensure the safety. There were few boards with cracks and some of them don't fit well. I don't know how long this set will last. It makes me nervous when multiple kids play on it at once.

I bought this for my kids about a year and a half ago. I love it so far. It was the best value for the money that I found. I wanted to get a slide, monkey bars and swings. I also did not want to have to stain the entire playset so this was perfect. It had all the features I wanted and was pre-stained and it is made of cedar so that was a bonus. It has held up very well. I did move and have to move this and partially disassemble it and put it back together. It held up well. My kids love it and play in it often. It was quite a job to set it up. I set it up myself working on it in the evenings and sometimes on the weekends and I bet it took me close to 2 weeks to assemble it all just working on it in my free time. I would recommend having a nice drill with a good batterypack or multiple battery packs and an impact driver for the lag screws. I was in the market for those tools at the time anyway and bought a pair of those with lithium ion battery packs and that helped a lot. I do not believe that I was missing any parts and did not have to order anything extra. I am just going to setup the sand box for my kids. I did add reinforcing particle board panels on the crows nest floor to make it more solid and give me peace of mind with my kids playing in it. I can stand in it and it holds me fine. I weigh about 160lbs so it should hold a few small children fine.

Bought this for my kids at the beginning of the pandemic since we couldn’t go anywhere, the love it! Play on it every day and it kept them from feeling trapped during lockdown. The really enjoy the swings and the little telescope deck area, but the monkey bars are their favorite. I’m glad I was able to find something with everything they wanted!

Great Quality for the money. I was impressed with how all the lumber was stamped with letter/number codes for easy inventory. We weren't missing any parts, thank goodness. I can see my son and his friend will have years of fun on this play set. Thank you for the careful design and planning. We are very pleased! We do also plan to seal it as soon as possible, so it will last in the Texas sun and harsh winter winds here in El Paso. Great fun! Much better than buying cheap pine wood equipment....cedar in the way to go!

I bought this for my daughter and son-in-law who have 4 small children at home. It is beautiful, sturdy. It does take up a lot of yard but eventually the kiddos will love it. They received the set in 4 very heavy boxes -- have the delivery people put it as close to where you are going to set it up as possible. The info says 36 hours with two people and believe me it definitely needs two people. So, if your 1-year old is crawling and stumbling everywhere, your 3-year old is "helping" and your 7 and 9 year olds are also helping, estimate at least double the time. It is well worth the effort. We had a set previously from same manufacturer that lasted about 7 years so we assume that this investment will last that long as well. I think the previous set would have lasted longer but with automatic sprinkler system and hot Texas sun, it eventually broke down. Definitely need to anchor well if in sandy loam.

If you like giant erector sets, this is your cup of tea. Instructions for the most part are pictures, so pay close attention to where holes are and the direction they face. The other tidbit I would offer is use a square. It took time but got built. My grand daughter loves it, which means it was worth it.

I bought this, and just had it installed last Saturday. My kid's love it! There's so much to do, and they'd be out there rain or shine if I let them (still a bit too cold here for that). I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone in the market. I'm glad I snagged it early March, because it looks like it's out of stock everywhere now. Even the gentleman that came out to do our install said we picked the best set that Backyard Discovery sells. Looking forward to a great summer with our new playset!

First thing is first.CHECK your inventory!! We lucked out and only had 3 boards missing-there was a delay,because the company sent it to the wrong address,but lucky us. UPS called me and got it here exactly a week later.We are still in building phase,due to weather.We have swings and monkey bars left.. I researched for a year to find just the right playset for our family of 9 kids.We hadn't even been members of sams club until my dad showed me a picture of this playset.We became members and bought this wonder toy!We are taking another playset and running a tube from one to the other....I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO EVERYONE!The revies were a HUGE factor in my decision making!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to fulfill my own childhood dream of getting this for my son. I always dreamed of getting a playset like this when I was a child, but was never able to. So I got this for my son. It took about 3 days for my husband and I to put together (FYI he’s a mechanic and familiar with power tools and following instructions). It came in 4 boxes, and the pieces were not organized at all. I had to act an inventory person collecting all necessary pieces from each box, while my husband was in charge of installation. Sadly, 2 weeks after it was finished, we had a spontaneous wind storm that blew the whole thing over. We filed an insurance claim, and replaced it. It took about 2 days the next time around- we knew what we were doing this time, and we were able to save some sections from the first one which saved time. We anchored the next one with 4 cement footings. No problems with the second one. Despite all this hardship with it, my son loves it, and we don’t regret getting it at all. Very happy with this purchase.

We’ve had this playscape for about 8 months. Our 3 kids (4 and under) LOVE it and I know they’ll play on it for years and years to come. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Definitely the best thing we’ve ever bought for our kids!
