My husband & I bought this for our daughters 2nd birthday and decided to put ut together ourselves. It is a great buy. The details are PARAMOUNT and will make or break you. Be sure to zoom in & check the hole orientation EVERY TIME it will save you time & the headache of undoing and re-doing. We absolutely could NOT have successfully finished this product without the 3D app.

Almost perfect Nearly perfect! Easy (but long) instructions. Did almost everything with one person. Came up short by 3 on one bag of screws, but brass wood screws are easy to find. A few boards were warped but not unusable. It has a great warranty and if I wanted to have BYD replace those parts, they would in an instant. Give yourself 3-4 days if you are doing this by yourself, 2-3 with 2 people. The monkey bars are 7.5 ft off the ground so we are waiting to install them until we have wood chips down. The most important part? The kids love it!

I can't say enough good about this set. First off I was building this and was up to step 45 out of 103 and the wind decided to pick it up and throw it into my Yukon. It ended up breaking 20 boards and bending some hardware. We salvaged what we could and I spoke to the manufacturer and they agreed to replace 8 of the most expensive board and I had to purchase the rest which in the end only cost me $40. I am super happy with the product quality, price, and service.

We are only 4 days post-assembly at the time of this review, but this playset has absolutely exceeded all my expectations. I titled my review "A dream come true" because it is!!! My husband and I had our eye on this playset for two years, since we first saw it fully assembled in a local store. It looked so huge and impressive, and we envisioned a set like this in the middle of our front yard since our oldest was 1 year old. 2020 came around and we were excited to finally get a playground, but when the pandemic hit and production/stock/delivery was seriously impacted, we were forced to hold off. We had a LOT of time, and I mean a LOT of time to look at other playsets available online. We searched all manufacturers, we searched local Amish retailers, we entertained the idea of any available playground set adorning our front yard, but I kept coming back to this one. No other set had every playground feature we were looking for at such a great price point and with so many good reviews. I just really wanted this one. Finally, this year, we were able to order it. It was delivered in a timely fashion, we unboxed the contents and organized while taking an inventory, and my husband and his brother built at a leisurely pace over 3 and a half days. Total time spent working was about 15 hours. They said assembly was easy, instructions were clear, they only made a couple mistakes that were easy to fix, and voila!! Our front yard has a big beautiful new dream-come-true playground set in it for our kids and all their friends to enjoy!! We love how it looks, it feels incredibly sturdy, and I'm so happy we just went with our gut and got THE playset that we always wanted from the get-go. Couldn't be happier, and so excited to watch the family make memories on and around this set.

There were a few pieces that were cut that did not fit exactly right and had to be modified to work (first example that comes to mind is the 'end brace' for the crows nest that is suppose to fit perfectly over the swings. The cutout was over an inch and a half off. Overall though, the set looks awesome. Be prepared to spend 20-30 hours building this monster. Amazing set for the price.

I purchased this in the spring of 2016 for all my grandchildren to use. They spend time at my house every day while their parents work and having more activities for them was great. Even the youngest granddaughter (one year old) was climbing the ladder up the back and scaring me! Haha!

The item come in 4 160lb boxes so you need 2 people to move them at least. Building does take 20+ hours. The directions are overall good but some parts I had to skip over and come back to because they did not make sense or seemed to be missing information. Once built... it is a nice piece. It does need sealed right away because the wood is very soft.

The process of getting the playset to our home was great. However; the company that came to install (GoConfigure). Was AWFUL! They had quoted us one price and since the men did not get it done in one day, which they said they would. They called and demanded I pay another $220. If I didn't they would unassembled the entire set. UGH!! I told the men over the phone what playset they would be installing and everything. When we checked out on the SAMS website we chose playset, not swingset since that is what the product description stated. We are very unhappy.

I bought the sky fort II a little over a month ago and finally found time to complete it. I was able to assemble the whole swing set by myself over 2-3 weekends (20-30 hours). The assembly instructions provided in the box were straight forward. I preferred the instructions manual for collecting parts prior to completing the next step but I also highly recommend using the app (“BILT”) that was advertised on the boxes. It was extremely helpful with the 3D diagrams when I needed reassurance that I interpreted the manual correctly. NOTE: I consulted with friends who have been through this before for their tips / tricks / advise. They (like the manual) recommended that I lay all the parts out prior to starting. I ignored this advise and left all the boards in the 4 boxes in my garage. I had dreams of working on the next steps after dark which never happened. This was my biggest mistake. Each box contained a parts list which helped but I believe at least 30% of my time was spend sifting through the boxes looking for the next part. If you have the space lay out the parts! My 2.5-year-old loves it!

We bought this for our 3 sons (ages6, 2 and 6 months), they all absolutely love it, the older two more than the baby! There is plenty of room for our kids, plus their friends to play. We also added our infant swing from our old set, but with the glider and swing there is plenty of places for all the kids to swing. The estimated 20 hours for assembly was accurate, it would not have taken as long if the directions would have been clearer. There were a few times that we had to look ahead in the directions. We also had to take things apart and put them back together again. My husband is very handy, so that also helped. It also helped that we organized the wood and hardware before we started so that everything was easy to locate. I have since talked to another mother who bought a smaller set and now wishes that she had bought the skyfort too. It is a great set for the money.
