Bought this about a month ago and was able to assemble it in 3 days. Total time took 3 of us about 20 to 30 hours. Some of the pieces split but cedar is soft. Sometimes it helps to pretrial even though most of them are. We also placed the base on pavers that were level as this should extend the life of the swing set. I thought the instructions were pretty clear too. Another thing that will help speed it up is to put all the hardware into some sort of organizer and organize all the pieces to make them easier to locate. Also when it's delivered it's curbside so make you have help to carry very heavy boxes to where you need them. The kids love it!!!! Not too big but not too small for them to get bored quickly.

Great play set that was relatively easy to build. My kids love it and it has all the activities to make it fun for a long time. I do not know how long it will last (probably only 2 or 3 years) before it will start to fall apart. Overall, a GREAT value.

We bought this for our grandchildren. They love it but it really is cheap looking. Considering what it cost, it is fine.We hired a contractor (and his helper) to put it together and it took about 3 full days. Several pieces were broken or missing so the contractor had to improvise.

It was for my grandson. He was super excited & would look at it & say “whoa” every time he saw it as he came home or woke up to it looking different every time something was added. I did sand & stain every piece with a six year semi-transparent stain so that will be so much better than having to do it with all the parts on it. Also keep the packing slips, sort the wood pieces into four piles as to which box they came out of & also it would have taken more time but to put each step’s bolts & screws into a bag & label them. It would save time in the long run. Also check every number twice & look to make sure it is turned the right way with the pilot holes. I enjoyed putting it together & the instructions were good.

I bought the SkyFort II for my niece’s two boys and couldn’t be happier! The kids love all the fun features the set offers, spending many hours playing and swinging. The online order process was simple and there was good communication from the company about shipment and delivery. We purchased installation, which took longer to arrange, but once scheduled the installers were on time and efficient, taking approx. 10 hours to install. Overall, very pleased with the process and the quality of the set, and would recommend it to others.

A quality product for the price. Goes together well if you take the time to do it right and double check the instructions for part orientation, and proper hardware. I recommend doing an inventory of all parts and hardware before starting. To organize the many parts and to not be short later. The only down grade is that there were 2 boards missing and 2 extra of a similar board. At least by contacting the manufacturer the parts were sent, it just took 2-3 weeks. So check before starting. I recommend staining each piece before assembly, the stained on the parts didn't seem of high quality.

Took about a week working on and off after work and weekends to get it built. Laying out the peices next to the boxes worked well since directions will refer to part which is listed by box on inventory list. Happy with quality of product. Kids love it.

I was a bit disappointed with the quality of the materials and have a feeling the boards wont last long. The slide is so flimsy that the metal part under your butt will bend and pop as the kids go down. Best for small kids under 80lbs. Also, the instruction manuel just have photo diagrams but no written instructions along with the diagrams. I guess most men don't like to ready instruction (sort of like how they don't like to ask for directions).

This swing came in 4 boxes. The pieces were spread. Instead of the pieces grouped in each box they were spread out. We had to dig in each box to find the parts. Finally we put all the pieces in alphabetical order as well as all the screws and bolts. Started working on the swing July fourth and finished it up July 25. A lot of the wood pieces are split. We will have to treat the wood immediately. If a person didn’t have a full time job maybe could get it together faster. The instructions were not clear about where some of the pilot holes so had to take apart and start over. Neat swing, but would never tackle the endeavor again.

Wood pieces are not as sturdy as other sets. Adult climbing ladder into tower seemed unstable and creaked under strain of 125 lbs. Opening where monkey bars attach to set a hazard for younger users. Dimensions of opening to slide, rockwall and crows nest very low so even 5 year old has to really duck down. Grandsons like it but won't grow with 5 year old as much as we hoped. Due to smaller beams on monkey bars, and swings will be more difficult to add on to set for features for older child.
