Backyard Discovery Skyfort II  Cedar Swing Set/PlaySet

My mother bought this for her grandkids and they love it...easy enough to put together that me and my eight year old daughter got it done.

I was looking for a swing set that would grow with my daughter. This swing set has it all and is big! Absolutely love it!!

So far so good! Looks great and kids love it! Do yourself a favor and have it professionally installed (took 4 guys 9 hours to assemble).

Great for little children!

We bought this a month ago and so far are very pleased. Assembly took about 15 hours and sorting hardware and wood was a must.

I bought this for my grandchildren (I have 13). They play on it everyday.  They even helped with the assembly!

Overall I'm satisfied with the swing set, there were a few pieces that were cracked when we opened the boxes, but we made everything work.

Great swing set play area for our girls! Setup was fairly simple especially utilizing the app! Definitely worth the money!!!!

Great product

This type of cedar is very very lightweight and has absolutely no density. I understand that is somewhat the nature of the wood, but then many of the pieces that are braces and supports should have been cut larger. Also, the stain is so minimally applied and easily rubs off to the point that it will be all over your kids clothes if you don’t stain it properly yourself. I had to re-stain everything right off the bat. There’s also no evidence of any quality control: excessively warped boards, boards of the same part number that are not cut to the same size, edges that are planes too thinly, bent screws and boards that split way too easily. It’s like no matter how badly it came off the assembly line, they threw it in the box anyway. I also think that the engineering of the crows nest is inferior and will not be sufficient to support a 2 seat swing, which will require that you come up with some sort of modification to beef it up. I would go with another brand name  that already puts quality in the box, otherwise you will just end up spending the extra money anyway on all of the modifications you will need to make.

You get what you pay for, sometimes less than that

I assembled the entire set alone so it can be done alone, however, i read someones preferred method was a 2 person organize and builder approach. I think that is the ideal assembly team.
