The plates are durable enough to hold a full plate of food and are easily handled without worrying that they'll fold or crack. The kids were able to manage the plates and the adults were able to hold several in their hands (as moms do) without worrying that they'll break. We used these for an informal event but could easily be used for more formal events.

If someone wants more than fits on this size plate they can make the trip to the buffet line to get more. These are the quality that I would expect from the Chinet brand.

The 10" size is perfect for any meal anytime. You don't get the scratching of paper or foam plates wheb cutting meat which is awesome.
