We have bought these dog beds for the last few years. So I ordered another one. It sits was high off the ground so my dog wont use it. It is not like the picture and not like the ones I have bought before that we loved.

This bed does the trick - for my five month old German shepherd. My adult shepherd won’t fit in this bed. It’s really puffy - they seem to like it. But I’d consider this a medium bed not an XL. will work for now.

We received 2 of these beds 4 days ago and they already have tears in the flat middle part. Our dogs aren’t rough so we know it was from digging in before sleep. Super bummed!

I've been buying these beds for years and loved them! Over time with many washes, the cover does eventually wear out. I ordered a replacement recently and the inside padding is not the same! It used to be quite plush but the inner padding barely has any padding in the bag! My dog was basically laying on the floor with a cover. Luckily, I was able to replace the inner padding bag with padding from the retiring bed.

I bought two of these beds for our therapy dogs and I received them on Tuesday, May 9. It is now Monday May 15 and one of the beds has been completely obliterated. The dogs are not monsters and are well behaved and well trained dogs. They go to work every day in a neurology office. The top of this bed is not at all durable. I’m not sure if the doggie found the bed hot or if she was just scratching trying to get comfortable but within the span of eight hours she managed to scratch through the cover and pull out stuffing from the inside. I doubt these beds are even durable enough to withstand a regular washing machine. By comparison their previous Serta beds I also bought at Sam’s had sheepskin tops that they never had this issue with. I am in my right mind to take them back to my local Sam’s Club and ask for a refund. I may just do that if I find myself with 30 to 45 minutes to spare.

I was looking for a bed that would make my 9 year old Boxer the most comfortable. I know this sounds odd, but it is too thick for her to do her turning circles and then lie down routine. She won't go near it. Of course, I bought 2 of them, and I she won't use either of them.

My dogs love this bed. It is very comfortable. However, if your dogs dig at all, even a little, it is worthless. I'd give it a 5 for comfort and a 1 for quality. The first claw to the bed created holes. So day one, holes everywhere. The main cushion is removeable so you can wash the cover. But the cover includes the soft pillow part and the bolster. You need to put this whole thing in the wash. There is a small zipper on the bolster which I guess is to add or remove the stuffing?? Anyway, if you taped the holes, you would still have to wash that part in the machine. The other beds I have purchased at other stores, and paid less for, got clawed, but I managed to keep them in working condition for a few years. This bed was gone in days. After the first holes, the entire thing ripped apart at the seam. At that point, the removeable cushion just fell apart. So now there is fuzz from the pillow and foam from the cushion all over the house. If you have a dog that just wants to curl up on a bed, and not circle and claw it, it should be a great bed for you. But I am still not sure about washing it. The pillow top and bolsters are quite bulky.

I purchased one of these beds in 2018 and was so impressed that I decided to buy another one in late 2020. The material used is clearly of lesser quality, as the second bed purchased tore at the seams and has holes in it already. We only have one dog, and he's the only that has ever used both of the pet beds. I contacted Serta and did not receive a response; however, Sam's Club provided a refund for the second purchase and I will be returning so that the vendor can see firsthand the poor quality.
