A niece of mines had a couple of these. I thought it was the most coolest, smartest thing ever made. During this time I was pregnant. So, naturally they had me sit in it. I thought I wouldn't like it as much. I WAS WRONG! I TOTALLY LOVED IT! Since then, I've waited for our store to have it in stock. Then found out it sells so quickly that I'd have to look online for it. Which I've been doing. But the shipping cost was ridiculously pricey! So I've never bought it. That was until a cashier informed me that my membership will be ending soon and had convinced me to upgrade. Especially because I do online ordering. And that's when I realized, oh my god! I can finally purchase the swinging lounge chairs. I went home, jumped online and made an order for 2. Unfortunately, they only had 1 available. So when my order came in, I found out they only had one & refunded me for the other. I went online to see if I could buy a different color. NOPE! ALL SOLD OUT. And MIND YOU… they weren't sold out 2 days before. That's how quick these chairs sell. Point in all this is… THEYRE TOTALLY WORTH BUYING!!! Get one ASAP! I know friends and families who are asking me where to get one. Why?! Ok… so let me tell you MY EXPERIENCE. Other than not having a footrest, which I think they should create and add on to the newer version they'll probably come out with, this chair is really comfortable and relaxing. Of course when you FIRST learn how to use it, it seems a bit difficult. Over a few tries, YOULL get the hang of it. Set up is pretty simple. But the frame does take up quite a bit of space. But that's only because you need it to swing. It seems difficult to sit in it at first. It's kind of like a hammock. Except, this has bar on the sides of the seater. Which is basically your ARM REST. Those are what I use to hold the chair in place so I can sit on it. The backing is attached to the frame & seat as shown in the photo. But, they best part of this chair is… it's a bucket seat so it's deep AND… the back adjust's too! YES it does! And I think that's what makes this chair much more comfortable. Cause it's already relaxing when it's as is. But when you release the strap to extend further back, it's like reclining and totally laying in a hammock. Now I'm fairly a short person and for me, it's not easy trying to sit on it. BUT… once you know HOW, it becomes natural. Best part of being short is… I can actually swing my legs to make it swing. Whereas… my husband and 16 year old son has their feet touching the ground. So they can't just relax, you know?! Still, they say it's comfortable because they can just rock themselves using their foot on the ground. As for me, I LOVE that I'm short, I get to stick my legs out and kinda REST IT while swinging. I can also fold my legs ONTO the chair and curl up and STILL SWING TOO. It's like sitting in an oversized-rocking-recliner-swing-thingy. I can also hold my 9 month old while curling up & rock him to sleep. We BOTH passed out on this. I DONT RECOMMEND SLEEPING IN THE LOUNGE CHAIR WITH A BABY! Only because some people don't think to SECURELY HOLD THE BABY to ensure they don't fall. I used a carrier or I wrap him up in my oversized wool cardigan. This helps me hold him tightly so if he was to move, he's snug & I wake up. OTHERWISE… I'd suggest rocking the baby to sleep & putting them down in their crib or bassinet or pen. And THEN… rock yourself to sleep. Trust me… it's worth it! Especially if you're using it for traveling, beach, picnics. People who'll definitely try to “BORROW” it. Lol! So keep a close eye on it.
Thanks for reading and sorry about the novel. I just wanted to share my honest opinion. Have a good day, MALAMA PONO and stay safe.
