These are the best turtles I have found! The pecans are salty and have the best flavor. The chocolate and caramel are delicious! I would not, however, have them shipped in the summer months or when the weather is even slightly warm. I received these MELTED into one big pile. When I contacted Sam's, they re-shipped them, but I received them the same way. Whoever ships these does not have proper cooling packs. There is only one, and it is much too thin. I live in Arkansas, and buddy, you better believe it gets SCORCHING hot here. In the future, I will only order in the winter months.

We couldn't find these chocolate turttles anywhere but online through Sam's. We were skeptical at first to order on line but boy are we glad we did. These are some of the best we've had and arriving fresh. As a pluse member shipping was free which made it all worth the while. We would order these again.

These are some of the best turtles I have found. I am always looking for turtles and prefer dark chocolate. These are thin, so they aren't overwhelmed by too much chocolate. They have tons of pecans! My only complaint is that they arrived all stuck together. The freezer pack was completely melted. I would have returned them but didn't want to drive 30 minutes across town. I put them in the freezer. I was able to break apart some of them after frozen. I expect better from Sam's though I understand its really the shipping company at fault.

Best milk chocolate pecan salted Carmel turtles I’ve ever had. I’ve bought 10+ tins of these for family and friends. Huge favorite amongst us all, nice amount for the price. Only wish the name was corrected to turtles to help find in search menu and also wish you could send a gift message to recipents. Definitely recommend.

For canned turtles, they taste pretty great. They look a little ashen and the caramel isn’t fluid so as to suggest freshness. I wasn’t thrilled with my first turtle but they were too good to throw away. Like a friend said, “they grew on me”. I would like the label and nutrient information to have mentioned if the ingredient “soy” is there as an emulsifier or not since I try to avoid soy. But, I didn’t see that. Nevertheless, it’s a pleasant enough experience for me to send as gifts, buy more, etc. Also, the cost is very reasonable. Just one turtle is big and satisfying as a treat. If I want an EXTREME fresh taste, I’ll have to pay more ant a different store and get less. The tin is pretty and does an excellent job of storing.

Best tasting candy ever, both tins were gifts and recipients loved the salty caramel. Would give 5 stars for the candy, but the ice packs did not last long enough and the candy melted into clumps by the time they were delivered. But both recipients said the Tuttles were worth breaking off chunks and asked that I send more when the weather is cooler.

Purchased as a Father's Day gift. When delivered I removed the warm freezer pack from the box and I was hoping that didn't mean the candy would be melted, today I found out it was (I highly recommend not purchasing during warm weather) I received a mound of melted candies in a tin! My husband loves turtles, has tried many versions and brands of pecan, carmel and chocolate candies. Conclusion: after breaking off a chunk these are not terrific, they are just okay. Mediocre at best.

Chocolate had a white coating and they appeared to have been tossed about. Seemed like they were old.

I’ve got three tins and all three of them. The chocolate was melted into one big ball of goo. Then when I try to reach out to customer service to get a refund, it’s impossible.

The “turtles” were covered in a white , hazy film and did not look like the package. The caramel was very hard and rubber like. It was sticky and too hard to chew. I am from the south and we grow lots of pecans and I have never had any like these! Also there are no manufacture or expirations dates on these products I ordered Are they old? Have they been frozen and thawed out ?? I don’t know what happened to these products but as a giant retailer you need a better supplier !
