LED backlight issues

Not a good purchase. Right around the end of the 3 year warranty, dark areas appeared at the bottom of the screen. Now a few months later, the entire left half of the screen is dark. Basically, I have to purchase a new TV now. Should last for more than 3 years. All other brands that I have purchased, have lasted for much longer.

good for apple

we bought this tv 2 weeks ago it came with no owners manual was told to down load it what a pain it says bluetooth but "only" headphones not your phone and if you have an apple phone then you can connect but if you have an android wont happen they wsnt you to sign up to recieve subscription and telemarketing trash which there us enough of we dont want any more and if you sign up i don't want any subscriptions that i have to pay for and it is not easy to set up if you have direct tv my samsung was a lot better once i hot it set up now whennu turn it on it keeps going back so i have to input and find direct tv agsin what a pain i probably wont do Vizio again it is not user friendly..

This model supports Bluetooth LE, which is a low energy form of Bluetooth used to assist in pairing the VIZIO SmartCast Mobile application to use devices like smart phones and tablets as a remote for the TV. VIZIO SmartCast functions and features can be accessed and setup using both Android and iOS platforms. When signing up for VIZIO accounts, an email is required for a VIZIO account. Your email will not be used for telemarketing purposes, but you will have the option to add a payment instrument and manage subscriptions, if you would like to and is completely optional.
