Terrible tv

Worst tv to ever exist. Have had it for a year now and it's been having issues since we pretty much got it. We have to restart it constantly cause the apps won't work and casting won't work either. What's the point of having a smart tv if every aspect of the tv doesn't function the way it's supposed to. The sound is terrible and anytime we connected the sound bar it had issues with the tv. Sound would stop or get really loud out of nowhere. I've always loved Vizio TVs but I will never purchase one again after this.

not so smart

i bought a 50 like a yr ago..smart tv/not so smart..it claimed to be voice control...not... i dont even try any more most to all times it does nothing for voice commands...another problem is i got another visio in bed room next to living room..and labeled it bedroom n other living room...i turn one on they both come on and change channel they both change..

The software is horrible !

Honestly. The operating system is very bad, it is laggy it is slow and it is unstable. The screen itself is nice, but the software is so unstable sometimes it is not watchable. My Wi-Fi at home is always good, I work from home I would know. But error 2902_1 pops up every month, sometimes several times a month. Then I would need to unplug the TV and replug it so smartcast would function again. If I would go back in time I would not buy this. Not a fan of VIZIO anymore.. thought I'd give this a try but bad experience.

just purchased this tv and it was easy to set up and the picture is very good and the price is real good color is great definitely need two people to put it on your entertainment center and if you put it on the wall you probably will need at least three but so far it,s been a great tv would recommend

DO NOT buy this tv it never works! I call the Vizio costumer Service multiple times and all they tell me you need to unplug the TV and plug it back in. I shouldn't have to unplug my television and plug back in 3 to 5 times a week to work properly, the remote controller never works I have to click the same button about 100 times before it actually moves and no it's not the batteries it's not a remote controller because I have purchased a different remote controller from Visio just to make sure it wasn't a problem with the remote controller worst television ever do not please do not buy this tv

back to Amazon for me, no rain checks Bull

Black Friday deal, tried to get this tv. App shows none available at any stores. Call store to be sure, salesmen first reports have none, then all of a sudden finds 3. I begged to hold me one, but of course they can't do that and I live hour away. Screw wally

FREEZES UP , NO HIGH SPEED INTERNET,, NO TV

BEFORE YOU BUY ANY ROKU TV OR WHATEVER. IF YOU HAVE TO HOOK IT TO THE INTERNET TO GET IT TO TURN ON.. IF YOU DONT HAVE HIGH SPEED INTERNET YOU CANT STREAM MOVIES OR ANYTHING WITHOUT IT FREEZING UP... IN MY AREA THEY DONT OFFER HIGH SPEED INTERNET ONLY THE SLOWEST SPEED 1.5 MPS.. SO IF YOUR HAVING A PROBLEM IT COULD BE POSSIBLY SLOW INTERNET. I BOUGHT A ROKU TV OR ETC. MINE KEPT FREEZING UP AND WOULDNT WORK RIGHT.. SO I TOOK IT BACK AND WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE,, IVE BOUGHT A TV OR 2 EVERY YEAR ON BLACK FRIDAY FOR THE LAST 6 YEARS.. BUT NOW SINCE THEY'RE MAKING THESE ROKU, SMART CAST, FIRE TVS , THEY WANT GET MY MONEY ANYMORE. ALL THE OTHER TVS I'VE BOUGHT OVER THE YEARS I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH NONE OF THEM... Horrible TV it will fail trust me so dont buy

Do not buy. I was a big Vizio fan but now. This TV barely lasted a year. I work on electronics. So I checked boards and it is a common problems with main board and power board. Very cheaply made. The boards cost over half of what the tv cost. Really not worth the fix. Sure I can find used boards. But do you really want to take the chance. If you are doing repairs you cant even buy the parts off their own website for parts. Pathetic. I will never own another Vizio.

Do not buy Vizio

Do not buy Vizio. If you only plan to live a year then you will be fine. The pros are it is inexpensive for a great TV but the cons are it only lasts about a year. The TV continuously updates which takes up the bottom of the screen. The remote goes insane once in a while. Worst problem is one day you turn it on and get a black screen with only the word Vizio on it. You can't turn it off or on by the remote nor the button on the back of the TV. You must unplug it to get it to turn off or on. Youtubes show you can buy $100 in parts and replace the boards in the TV. Problem with that is it might not work and you are out $100 you could have put on a replacement TV. I will be looking at other brands now to replace this TV. Maybe a Samsung or Sony.

TV stopped working after 1 year. Called visio tech support they requested i go through all the troubleshooting steps again - which was a huge waste of time. they referred me to call the allstate protection an which i did. Agaim a nightmare dealing with them. went through all trouble shooting step then the had the nerve to ask mento send them a video of the TV flickering. Then the video was to long to send. so made another - it was too short. well the point is when power was applies you could see the visio symbol for less then a second. Finally Allstate sent a replacement TV - but the screen was cracked. so then for 2 weeks the had me select 2 different TVs to replace the one they sent with a broken screen. each time the TV selected was not available. Supposedly now i am getting a check to go purchase a replacement TV. not holding my breath as this whole process from Visio to allstate has been terrible.
